Position Overview:
UNIQLO USA is looking for a talented and energetic Email Marketing Coordinator to join our Digital Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for the day to day management – and optimization – of our email program. Additionally, this individual will aid with the development of UNIQLO’s CRM and retention programs. The position reports to the Head of Retention Marketing.
• Manage the email process workflow including: development of the email calendar, collaborating with Creative and Copy Teams, obtaining timely approvals on email content from Leadership and setup/QA of email campaigns
• Find process efficiencies by partnering with all necessary stakeholders to improve workflow
• Oversee creation of new email triggered programs
• Monitor email deliverability and list hygiene to ensure optimal inbox placement
• Work with email service provider and other vendors, ensuring relationships are productive -- supporting business initiatives as an extension of the digital team
• Deliver reporting and insights that accurately measure the performance of each email campaign on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis
• Drive and optimize key traffic and revenue metrics including CTR, open rates, engagement, and retention
• Own development and implementation of testing calendar, sharing results with internal partners to garner buy-in
• Understand and apply best practices to UNIQLO email program to remain competitive and legally compliant
Requirements:
• BA degree in Marketing/Communication or analytical emphasis
• 2-4 years online marketing-specific experience, optimally focused on email marketing
• Experience with ESP and marketing automations vendor necessary
• Understanding of email fundamentals: CAN-SPAM requirements, segmentation, performance metrics, etc.
• Understanding of HTML and email design best practices
• Flexibility and agility to adapt to changing and evolving business requirements and objectives
• Results-driven with exceptional detail and knowledge around metrics and ROI analysis
• Demonstrated success in managing high volume integrated email marketing programs for consumer audiences
• Ability to synthesize results into email marketing enhancement recommendations
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional writing and communication skills
• Strong computer skills, effective time management, organizational and leadership skills
