About the Role
As a member of the Finance team, you will be integral in efficiently scaling a fast-growing startup. You will lead the management and consolidation of the Company’s annual planning process, interim forecasts, and own internal management and Board reporting. You will manage and mentor a team which provides financial business support to the organization (including Marketing, Operations, and G&A departments).
To be successful in this role, you will need strong managerial, analytical and system skills. You will have the ability to understand the Company’s financial model and strategic goals, while also being very detail oriented. An ideal candidate will have experience analyzing revenue, expenses, cash flows, and the balance sheet at the consolidated level for a retail, eCommerce, and/or technology business.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will...
• Lead the consolidated forecast process and own the Corporate financial forecast models
• including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
• Build trusted relationships with key cross-functional business partners as well as within
• the Finance / Accounting team
• Take a leadership role within FP&A in coordinating the Company’s annual strategic and
• multi-year planning processes
• Drive existing management reporting – analyze financial results, distill and synthesize issues, communicate key messages (including current and future business risks) to senior management
• Own monthly and quarterly management and Board reporting and ensure a high degree of quality, timeliness, and accuracy in reporting as well as providing key business insights
• Partner with business to support strategy and business decision-making. Establish regular cadence with business partners for monthly budget vs actual analysis, headcount reporting, monthly and quarterly expense forecast updates, annual planning, and special projects
• Lead ad hoc financial modeling and analysis for special projects; build detailed financial, scenario based models to evaluate investment priorities and evaluate potential alternatives
We’re excited about you because...
• You have a BS in Finance or Accounting preferred
• You have an MBA or CPA a plus
• You have a minimum 10-15 years finance/accounting experience, with experience in leading Corporate FP&A team at a public company
• You have Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• You have excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with Executives, especially the CFO
• You have strong management skills, experience building and developing a team
• You have knowledge of Oracle Fusion and Anaplan are a plus
