Purpose and Scope: Provide day to day merchandise activities support to the category merchant. Responsible for weekly meeting documentation, system and report creation line opening materials/ tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute and manage integrity of line definition in Global Front End+ - internal merchandising system.
• daily maintenance of change control and sample log forms- communicate with Design, Production, Tech teams.
• Responsible for all system and document creation and maintenance: GFE+, line lists, add/drop, price change updates, floor plans, and post market sample requests for advertising and eCommerce needs for all Merchandise Divisions.
• Attend weekly and seasonal meetings as directed.
• Post Market Trim Review and Reconciliation.
• Line status meetings with Design and Production,
• Proto Reviews.
• Partner with merchandising and Production to outline packing method and instructions for garments.
• Manage detailed eCommerce spreadsheet to appropriately account for all samples sold online for various accounts.
• Collaborate with sample coordinator for eCommerce, flyer, and best seller needs.
• Assist in showroom set up and clean up pre and post market.
• Account for all samples.
• Prepare Best Seller presentations for Market and/or internal presentation.
• Visit retail and wholesale locations to review product and shop competition.
Qualifications:
• College degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of work experience in a retail or wholesale merchandising role.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills relating to retail math including mark-up, gross margin and sell-through.
• Computer proficient and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office- Outlook, Excel, Power Point and GFE+.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional manner.
• Must be able to multi-task proficiently, problem solve, stay organized, keep detailed notes and work well in an environment that is fast paced.
• Must be detail oriented, have a strong sense of urgency and possess the ability to manage schedule obstacle to meet deadlines.
• Ability to be self-motivated and enjoy fast paced, multi-faceted work environment while fostering collaborative relationships with cross functional teams.
