Purpose and Scope: The Wholesale Digital & Ecommerce team at Ralph Lauren is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work with our top wholesale account partners with a focus on ecommerce and digital marketing. This position will lead relationships with internal marketing and sales teams as well as external partners/wholesale accounts. Candidates should be able to lead their team and ensure accountability. They should be strong in problem resolution, critical thinking, and navigating complexity.
Key Responsibilities: The Manager will lead and manage the adaptation of strategies and execution of those strategies with our wholesale account partners. She/he will be the key contact for their area of responsibility/brand(s) and will work closely to manage their team, their key partners internally, as well as be responsible for communicating plans to Senior Management.
• Understand seasonal corporate strategies (product, sales, marketing) and determine appropriate priorities for the wholesale digital space; set clear objectives.
• Collaborate with internal marketing teams to ensure all initiatives are aligned.
• Gain alignment on proposed strategies from all key internal partners.
• Present to account partners in a compelling way and gain agreement from partners to execute as desired, ensuring the RL brand is always positioned as premier.
• Initiate execution of strategies and guide team to adhere to processes and ensure successful outcomes.
• Work closely with sales to understand objectives and support with clear initiatives.
• Work with account partners to collect metrics/reports and understand trends/benchmarks; apply critical lens to metrics/reports and identify areas to optimize.
• Communicate learning’s/metrics to sales, marketing, and WDE teams to inform future seasons strategies and initiatives.
• Own and manage constant communication to internal parties regarding plans, changes in plans, potential issues, and learning’s in order to keep everyone informed of progress and key information.
• Support internal and external teams to provide brand guidance, troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed.
• Ensure key meetings are scheduled with proper attendees; drive the presentations for meetings clearly communicate strategies and goals in advance.
• Manage the Marketing team and keep them accountable to deadlines, basic team functions, and executional success while also developing and challenging them.
• Be familiar with all partners sites, capabilities and competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
• College degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in digital marketing and branding.
• Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to think proactively, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively within a group.
• Dynamic individual who has energy and enthusiasm.
• Strong Word, Excel, and Powerpoint skills.
