Job Summary
The Manager of Global Supply Chain Planning is responsible for all aspects of inventory and supply planning for our commercial business, with a goal of ensuring desired revenue, margin, service, inventory, capacity, and total delivered cost targets are achieved.
This is a highly cross-functional role requiring industry experience, diplomacy, teaching and ability to build a new function from the ground up while also operating the business. You will lead a team of 5-7 planners.
In the first 12 months as the Manager of Global Supply Planning you will:
• Establish supply planning function and 12-18 month purchase forecasting and capacity planning with suppliers and Asia Operations group
• Implement a monthly buy process for footwear and manage direct procurement of all finished goods
• Establish inventory target setting and review process in partnership with Finance and Merchandising
Essential Responsibilities
Lead Supply Reviews as part of the S&OP cycle
• Build detailed inventory flow plans and capacity plans
• Provide views to key exceptions and decisions
Manage day-to-day activities for supply planning:
• Creation, updating and maintenance of purchase orders from production through delivery
• Monitoring production schedule and prioritizing as needed
• Stock transfers and At Once inventory needs
• Forecast updates and accuracy analysis
• Communication and collaboration with Asia office
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
Supply Planning (5+ yrs)
SAP (5+ yrs)
Microsoft Office Suite (5+ yrs)
SAP BI and SQL (5+ yrs)
Strong analytical capabilities (5+ yrs)
Team leadership (0-3 yrs)
Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) (5+ yrs)
Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally (5+ yrs)
Educations and Experience
Footwear or Fashion Apparel Supply Planning (Required)
BA Degree in Supply Chain or Business (Preferred)
10+ years of related work experience (Required)
Ability to thrive in an environment with evolving processes and a high degree of ambiguity(Required)
Lead, manage and train a team (Required)
Exceptional Follow-through (Required)
