Principle Objective:
To achieve and/or exceed the company sales plan. This is accomplished through leading all brand equity messages, within geographical area, through the following venues: Selection, management and retention of Education Executives; Field Executive development and succession; and Seminar planning and execution and POS coaching.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsibilities:
1.) Selection, Management and Retention of Education Executives
• Identifies future brand leaders by demonstrating and teaching management skills to assigned Education Executives.
• Communicates progress and needs to Vice President, Education & Executive Events, North America.
• Ensures that Education Executives are clear on and capable of attaining all measurable goals and objectives.
• Oversees Education Executive’s development of strategies to lead Consultant orientation, staff retention, and Top Performer initiatives.
2.) Leads Field Executive Development and Succession
• Creates a strategy to develop Education Executive’s ability to educate and develop the Account Coordinator and identified Business Managers to ensure top talent is identified as bench.
• Evaluates Education Executive’s performance to ensure that Clinique standards are upheld.
• Works in conjunction with Field Sales Director partners to ensure orientation and development plans are in place for all Field Executives. Plans should be in place to revisit and collaborate upon so that bench intentions and progress of development is monitored regularly.
• Teaches, coaches and reinforces the utilization of all Adult Learning Principles
• Develops and maintains productive relationships with Field Sales Director partners in order to ensure clear, aligned leadership of Field Executives.
• Develops and maintains productive relationships with all Field Sales Director partners in order to ensure a clearly aligned field executive leadership.
• Participates in meetings with Clinique team regarding sell through strategies and account planning. To ensure key elements are emphasized in primary areas of responsibility.
• Works with Field Sales Director partners to establish best practices with Education Executive/Account Executive as it pertains to selection in order to ensure productivity and retention.
3.) Seminar Planning and Execution
• Sets clear expectations and follows up on all seminar administration duties.
• Ensures that Education Executive are competent and ready to teach Education Development curriculum to Consultants of varying levels.
• Manages needs of the Field Sales Director partners as it pertains to specific account needs; custom-fitting where necessary.
• Teaches, coaches and reinforces the utilization of all Adult Learning Principles.
• Builds strong working relationship with the Development Team to ensure they have first-hand insights of Consultant needs, market trends and results.
• Provide feedback on programs, products, selling strategies, field needs, staff performance and competitive activities.
4.) Administration
• Manages administrative responsibilities related to job objectives in a timely manner.
• Manages allocated field and seminar budget within agreed upon guidelines.
• Manages seminar Contingents
• Account specific responsibilities
Qualifications
The candidate should have 8 plus years of relevant experience in education or sales, along with management/supervisory experience. Candidates must have strong leadership and management skills demonstrated by talent and consistent positive sales results. The ability to collaborate and achieve consensus with other groups is imperative. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
