GENERAL FUNCTION
The Director Operations supports the brand profitability by safeguarding LensCrafters assets,and minimizing shrink and damages. The role is responsible to identify known or suspected internal and external issues involving shrink, inventory and dishonesty while promoting an atmosphere of prevention, awareness, and accountability. The role is responsible for the analysis of inventory results to develop strategies, training and policies to improve results across LensCrafters. The role is expected to strategically partner with the Directors of Asset Protection and Inventory Control to execute key strategies or initiatives key to Asset Protection and LensCrafters.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the identification of risks across LensCrafters and administer solutions in partnership with Asset Protection, utilizing appropriate tools within AP department.
• Nurture an entrepreneurial culture that challenges others to generate break through ideas and initiatives.
• Drive training, development, and knowledge in partnership with AP, to ensure expectations are met and in compliance with Asset policies and procedures.
• Lead strategic partners to deliver on requirements and program deliverables.
• Lead the development and implementation of Asset Protection & Inventory Control programs within LensCrafters.
• Identify and ensure the effective implementation of Shrinkage programs, Inventory best practices, training tools, and Policies & Procedures across LensCrafters.
• Liasion between LensCrafters and Asset Protection to minimize and resolve opportunities pertaining to point of sale (POS) systems, internal/external theft, Shrink, Inventory and operations procedures.
• Prioritize projects and ensure their consistency with LensCrafters strategies.
• Advises leadership at the highest levels about the project portfolio, status and resource planning.
• Display leadership courage by making tough decisions that support LensCrafters interests above the interests of individual departments.
• Identify worst performing stores in brand, create improvement plan in partnership with field leadership and AP; track and monitor progress.
• Identify opportunties for regional and store training sessions regarding policy and procedures.
• Analyze the compliance and consistency of AP audits within LensCrafters.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• BS/BA degree, or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years experience in Asset Protection
• Strong business acumen
• Organized, good time management skills
• Deals well with ambiguity
• Builds effective partnerships
• Exhibits timely decision making
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of investigative courses, such as Reid and Wicklander/Zulawski
