Manager, North America Digital and Social Marketing, Origins
Description
This position is responsible for supporting the Director of Consumer Engagement, North America (NA) to translate the Global Brand's digital and social marketing strategies and localize them for the U.S. market. The objective of this role is to ensure compelling storytelling online via Origins.com and social channels including paid and/or organic Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and Pinterest. This individual will work closely with Global Marketing and Consumer Engagement counterparts, and colleagues in NA Marketing, Online and Education. This individual's content marketing expertise and understanding of the Origins brand will help us to transform the digital experience and conversation with our customers.
Detailed Role Strategic Responsibilities:
Content Strategy and Execution
• Propose and develop approved content strategies for product launches and evergreen communications
• Propose content calendars across channels including In Store, Social, Blog and Online
• Create creative briefs based on content needs
• Measure success and optimize against engagement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Consumer Engagement:
• Propose and develop approved concepts for digital and experiential marketing initiatives that generate awareness, foster engagement and lead to an increase in size of marketing database.
• Propose and develop approved concepts for digital and experiential marketing initiatives that drive repeat purchase and foster loyalty to the brand
• Measure success and optimize against engagement, conversion and retention KPIs
Community Management:
• Collaborate with Online Customer Service to manage a small team of community managers responsible for ensuring we are answering all social media engagements across platforms in the most timely and effective manner
• Collaborate with the Global Consumer Engagement Social Team to communicate NA’s local needs, so they are produced and scheduled for Instagram Feed and Stories.
• Measure success and optimize against community management KPIs
Business Responsibilities:
• This position will work with both Global and NA Marketers to localize Global strategies for campaigns and overall Consumer Engagement
• Ability to thrive in a highly innovative digital landscape and possess an awareness of the mulitple innovative solutions; Ability to conceptulize how innovation can be leveraged for the brand
• Must be able to understand the overall brand strategy and business objectives, with particular focus on consumer engagement. By having a solid understanding, they can appropriately apply creative thinking, articulate ideas that will drive the business forward.
Detailed Skills:
• Considers him/herself an 'early adopter' of digital trends, and has a passion for digital media and devices. Keen understanding of consumer marketing with emphasis on content, social media and technology.
• Excellent data analytical skills with ability to evaluate marketing programs.
• Needs to thrive in a fast paced environment, oversee multiple projects, have attention to detail and work well with cross functional teams. Agency or Brand Marketing Experience preferred with experience in online marketing. Strong communication, clearly communicates expectations. Can relate to a range of people spanning business to creative to technical discipline.
• Experience with pricing and budgets for digital initives and content creation
Qualifications:
• Position requires 5+ years of related experience with proven success
• BA required, MBA preferred
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to influence a team and the business
• Must be a team player with strong analytical and communication skills.
