What will I contribute to the organization?
• Key leadership position, responsible for the financial results of the largest RMO (Regional Marketing Organization) within the Health & Home division
• Key member of the Health & Home Finance team, sharing best practices and partnering with both division and corporate finance and accounting teams to deliver best in class reporting and analysis
• Concisely and effectively deliver messages using a fact based, analytical approach throughout all levels of the organization
• Demonstrate a 'continuous improvement mindset', striving to continuously improve and create efficiencies within the department and organization, continuous year over year improvements
• Partner heavily with the SVP, GM of the Americas and their leadership team to deliver strategic growth initiatives through organic growth, new product offerings and strategic investment / business decisions to drive margin results
• Lead the annual budget and strategic processes, working with the cross functional teams, choice fully balance risks and opportunities to meet company growth objectives
• Lead the monthly variance analysis process, noting and explaining key drivers versus forecast, budget and prior year results, including detailed understating of changes in gross margin (volume, rate and mix analysis), investments and departmental spending
• Own the quarterly forecast process, update volume forecasts and corresponding changes in gross margins, investments and departmental spending
• Key member of the SI&OP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning), understanding and assessing changes in the marketplace and impacts on the volume forecast
• Lead ROI analysis for marketing investments, partner with the marketing organization to drive sound investment that drives margin enhancing investments
• Demonstrate a 'working capital mindset', with an understanding of the impact of business transactions not only on the P&L but the balance sheet and corresponding impacts on free cash flow
• Review and approve new products, analyze DCF (Discounted Cash Flow) modeling to drive profitable volume growth
• Partner with the Accounting team to ensure understanding of transactions and alignment in forecasts / budgets
• Manage, develop and professionally grow direct reports
What are the requirements to be considered?
• Bachelor’s Degree or other 4-year Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG or FMCG) industry experience highly preferred
• CPA and / or MBA preferred
• Prior supervisory experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Experience with Hyperion and Oracle preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to interact with various levels of management
• Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
• Requires a highly organized, strong analytical thinker
• A strong aptitude for building a culture of trust, integrity, and performance
