Job Summary
We are looking for an engaging leader to direct the Harley-Davidson Treasury Services team to ensure that the treasury function supports the funding and capital markets needs of Harley-Davidson including timely execution of transactions, prudent investment of cash assets, risk reduction through hedging and solid asset management related to retirement assets. The director will be responsible for leading a number of Harley-Davidson's treasury activities including its capital markets activities (corporate and subsidiary), financial hedging programs (commodities, foreign currencies and interest rates), US cash investments and pension asset management. This position will serve as a key business partner for complex treasury assignments involving raising short-term unsecured debt, reporting to the Board of Directors/Senior Leadership, and for Harley-Davidson Financial Services, International, Corporate, Manufacturing, Materials, Logistics.
Job Responsibilities
• Lead the development and enforcement of Treasury policies and procedures.
• Manage the day to day bank relationships in investments and hedging.
• Manage, coach and mentor a diverse group of debt capital market employees to ensure organizational objectives are met and that the team is moving forward with robust development plans and goals.
• Lead the development and documentation of roles, processes and detailed procedures to facilitate seamless employee transitions.
• Direct the development of scorecards and metrics for on-going activities.
• Manage the development and completion of complex analyses and reports for senior management use.
Education Specifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is required. Strong preference for MBA/MS or Professional Certification (CTP, CPA) will be given.
Experience Requirements
This role typically requires twelve (12) years (or more) of progressive responsibility in Treasury, Accounting or Financial Planning & Analysis with least five (5) years of management supervisory experience. Our ideal leader will bring:

• A strong and broad understanding of finance including the general principles of corporate finance, banking and capital markets (financing, hedging and investing).
• Experience and understanding of debt instruments (commercial paper and MTNs), investment products, foreign exchange and derivative contracts.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, time management, and written and oral communication skills.
• SAP and bank system experience a strong plus.
