Position Overview:
The Director of Tools & Capabilities is a strategic leadership position reporting directly to the VP of Commercial Leadership (CCNA). The incumbent will lead the strategic development & implementation of all NA commercial technology platforms: system communication, sales planning, outlet execution, commercial productivity and related training. Develop and drive a multi-year vision & strategy for the commercial technology environment to synthesize and transform sales and commercial experiences, planning, and communications. Translate system-wide commercialization needs into easy-to-use on-line capabilities for sales and marketing personnel including bottlers and sales and execution associates. Steward, lead and positively impact Commercial Application’s relationships with key stakeholders to proactively address business issues and opportunities, and mitigate negative impact on the business. Lead the creation of planning standards, tools and capabilities for driving Commercial Planning & Strategy Initiatives.
Function Specific Activities:
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Plan Development & Implementation/Training: Develop and deliver against a multi-year strategic plan for Commercial Execution & Frontline capabilities & related tools & applications
• Develop CCNA Commercial tool landscape strategy and roadmap
• Import best practices from KO system (Global and Bottlers)
• Develop training/change management strategy for solution adoption and continuous improvements
• Lead team in delivery of current year capability improvements and priorities
• Define resources necessary to accomplish priorities
• Partner with cross-functional shared services and CCNA leadership to align on roadmap
• Secure necessary funding to accomplish short and long term priorities via ABP & Senior leadership alignment
• Manage Operational DME and Vendor Management
• Actively manage DME budget for operational support of Commercial Solutions
• Define and steward Vendor SLAs with routine compliance reviews
• Ensure vendor(s) are right sourced and scaled accordingly to priorities
• Lead annual vendor planning sessions
• Leads and develops people to drive business results, build capabilities and drive employee engagement
• Coach direct reports (product owners) to realize strengths and improve on opportunities with detailed and aligned development plans
• Review and steward individual solution strategy, vision and roadmaps with tool managers
• Lead routine staff-meetings to ensure information is cascaded accordingly and priorities are assessed to achieve desired business results.
• Steward best practices across Commercial Leadership and NA system stakeholders (bottlers & partners) with regards to Commercial tools & capabilities
• Act as SME for all Commercial Solutions for North America to the Global KO system
• Participate in CONA routines to ensure alignment with CONA roadmap and strategy
• Leverage existing tools and capabilities in KO system and implement adoption into CCNA.

Technical Familiarity:
• Ability to learn and effectively use information/business tools and platform (Salesforce Community Cloud, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud) to effectively manage the roadmap for communications platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or related area
Education Preferred:
• Master’s Degree
Experience Required:
• 10+ years of relevant experience in developing and stewarding the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition of large-scale solutions and services with a demonstrated record of customer focus.
• Experience building and implementing commercialization plans, technology platforms/tools & related training.
• Ability to influence and communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Possesses knowledge, expertise, and experience in change management and organizational communication.
• Proven track record delivering results on time and within budgets.
• Measures and evaluates quality and effectiveness of deliverables, focuses on continuous improvement.
• Ability to plan and flex with the needs of the business.
• Advance process and planning experience.
