Function Specific Activities:
• Leads shopper marketing strategy through the understanding of macro and shopper trends that will drive both annual and long-term growth.
• Builds strategic relationships with key marketing and merchant stakeholders, across all beverage forms (packaged and dispensed)
• Develops big picture, innovative stories for annual stewardship documents by synthesizing multiple data source to create added value with our customer.
• Understands how to cross pollenate best practices and develop flexible and agile initiatives that resonate across different countries
• Amplifies key shopper marketing platforms that support both our system as well as the customers long term growth plans.
• Creates compelling Path to Purchase plans (pre-digital, shop merchandising materials and post social) to support the designated platforms.
• Manages and understands shopper marketing budgets to ensure positive return on investment for the customer and The Coca Cola Company.
• Strength in working with cross functional partners to drive the biggest impact for the system our marketing programs.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities for 7-Eleven
• Development of initiatives to support the Global 7-Eleven Team’s 3-year strategy, while also collaborating to amplify shopper marketing annual plans.
• Lead Company relationship with 7-Eleven Marketing, maintaining an on-going relationship with key stakeholders to develop joint objectives, strategies and implementation plans to drive business growth.
• Influence 7-Eleven on the development of marketing materials (e. g., POS, sell-in materials, implementation manual, etc.) that communicate initiatives in the most impactful way for our brands and joint shopper.
• Lead big creative brief development that clearly articulates communication objectives and success criteria to inform and direct agency work.
• Assess in-market potential of innovation concepts to maximize volume potential and minimize duplication of effort by utilizing effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Lead the development of a communication plan using various tools (e. g., newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, face-to-face meetings, video conferencing, etc.) to communicate shopper marketing strategies, initiatives & concepts
• Build Sr. Management relationship with 7-Eleven to advance key system-wide marketing plans and priorities.
• Collaborate with the team U.S. Vice President on the development of high-profile stewardship documents and selling stories that based in shopper insights to drive growth for our system and customer.
Education Requirements:
• Bachelor s degree; MBA preferred
Related Work Experience:
Minimum Required:
• At least 9 years’ experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry
• People leadership/management
• Leadership across multiple customers
• Experience in Developing Shopper Marketing Strategies and Plans
Preferred Level:
• 12 years’ experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry
• Extensive Marketing and Sales Experience (particularly in area of Shopper Marketing)
• Customer/Sales management experience
• Brand management experience
