General Summary:
The Marketing Director, LATAM will lead the department and the Marketing plan for Latin-America. They will be responsible for the creation, development and implementation of marketing strategies along Latin-American for all applicable Campbell’s Brands. This position oversees product positioning, market share, market penetration to improve BU results while co-leading the Innovation agenda in partnership with R&D. The Marketing Director should also develop portfolio strategy, pricing policies & strategies, owns medium- and long-term strategic plans for new Businesses, products, channels and geographies; leads the products promotions and coordinates with other departments to reach the commercial targets.
Main Responsibilities:
• Lead the Brand and Category strategies and the required budget to achieve them
• Determine marketing priorities and portfolio roles combining brands/geographies
• Adopt and Adapt marketing strategies or guidelines from Corporate when applicable
• Lead action plans for marketing to strengthen employee’s commitment
• Ensure that brands achieve Business objectives in line with AOP for Latin-America
• Responsible to develop, prioritize and execute Brand/Category strategies for every market, brand and channel
• Co-lead new product development & innovation strategy and execution for all categories in Latin-America
• Manage the brand score cards for the entire portfolio and guarantee that are in line with budget and plans
• Implement/execute strategic Business action plans if desired results are not achieved
• Influence negotiations in customer-channel product launching and cataloguing in all desired channels
• Support Latin-America partners network through marketing strategies for specific markets, channels and brands
• Develop marketing programs and actions for customers which allow growth and profitability
• Define and manage Marketing related partners (Advertising and Media Agencies, Digital agencies, etc.) across Latin-America to gain regional efficiencies
• Negotiate the purchase of advertising (TV, radio, Printed, etc…. ) and comply with budget in the region
• Lead AOP development and approval with New Product Plans, growth projections coming from marketing strategies by brand, product, channel and location.
• Co-lead the 3-year Strategic Plan for the BU in conjunction with Regional VP Lead market research, product planning, marketing communications, advertising and promotions
Position Complexity:
• The position will be responsible for marketing in Latin-America covering a wide different of market opportunities and competitive environments
• Responsible to develop a meaningful Latin-America Region Marketing Strategy that ensures at the same time synergies across markets
• Responsible for all Brands and business portfolio across Latin-America. From role definition to resource prioritization across and within brands/geographies
• Manages a team in the different geographic locations
• Ensure effective teamwork within the Marketing team, Sales and the rest of the Organization
• Partner with R&D, PS, Finance, Sales and 3rd Party Network to ensure New products, Line extensions and Line renovations get successfully to market on-time
• Needs to work closely with Sales to ensure correct deployment of marketing strategy in the different channels
• Strong collaboration to achieve business results through 3rd party Partners across the Region
• Manage and control Marketing spending budget according to AOP and business objectives
• Needs to recommend, develop, prioritize and execute day to day marketing execution for all brand portfolios
Minimum Requirements:
• Education level: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or Management
• 10 years of relevant Marketing experience required, 2 in a similar position or 4 in the immediate lower position
• Relevant marketing experience in key regions (Mexico, Central and South American, and Caribbean)
• Completely fluent in both Spanish and English

Working conditions:
50% Office / 50% field/partners
50% traveling across the region
