Job Description

The Director of Online Merchandising Planning will lead a team of managers and analysts through merchandising-related activities including pricing strategy and execution, events and promotions execution, analytics and reporting, assortment planning and expansion, and drop-ship supplier onboarding experience. He/she will be responsible for ensuring aligning with and working collaboratively with other merchandising and support functions including but not limited to marketing and core merchandising. He/she will also provide day-to-day support and ensure the team has the necessary tools, training and skills. The Director will contribute to ensuring an exceptional supplier experience by owning all drop-ship supplier on-boarding activities. This role will be responsible for driving strategic business initiatives for Lowes.com and have financial responsibilities, including Profit and Loss (P&L). This role will have direct reports and the incumbent will be responsible for inspiring, managing, and developing a team.
• Lead a team of managers and analysts through merchandising-related activities including but not limited to pricing strategy and execution, events and promotions execution, analytics and reporting, and assortment planning and expansion.
• Provide team members day-to-day support by ensuring they have the skills, tools and training needed to be successful.
• Participate actively on relevant projects and initiatives within Online Merchandising that further the strategic vision of Lowes.com
• Align with and work collaboratively across functional areas within and outside of other Core Merchandising and Lowes.com support teams
• Meet financial and other KPI goals
• Act as champion for and help execute key projects and initiatives
• Review, analyze and report on key business performance indicators. Use acquired insights to influence and inform decision-making
• Constantly seek out new areas of opportunity and execute on enhancements
• Develop content, format, and cadence for reporting on key metrics, progress against initiatives/projects and other measures of success.
• Oversees initial drop-ship supplier communication and onboarding/training
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field and 10+ years Online/retail merchandising and vendor/supplier management and 6+ years Leadership Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree MBA or related field
