This role will lead the creation and roll out of global talent acquisition strategies and tools including global policies, processes, signature programs, systems, and TA capability courses enabling the effective performance and delivery of BU and MBS TA teams against business objectives.
This position will partner with the BU TA leads to develop and scale TA solutions across a matrixed and decentralized organization to ensure a fit for purpose function with the greatest ROI.
This role is an integrator- integrating people, strategies, processes and technologies. Acting as the subject matter expertise “glue” to ensure recruitment processes and programs enable local BU needs to be met while safeguarding the effectiveness, efficiency and global consistency of our critical TA frameworks and processes.
This TA leader must be equal part “innovator” and “realist” with the ability to create solutions that address both present and future needs of our changing global organization whilst future proofing our ability to hire talent in an increasingly competitive landscape. Additionally, they must be both operationally grounded and strategically savvy; ensuring technologies and processes fit with the strategic direction of a decentralized organization whilst understanding how to keep it simple and make things “work” in an efficient and compliant way.
Main Responsibilities:
Technology solution and program design and enhancements:
Lead the development and integration of new technologies that enable and optimize our end to end recruitment process, from applicant tracking through onboarding, and support the changing needs of the business.
• Design and own programs (such as onboarding) that span across our global organization to ensure global applicability and consistency.
Demand and capacity oversight:
Partner with workforce planning team to ensure global TA has capacity and plan to address long term hiring needs. Build framework to include prioritization criteria and ensure consistent utilization of data analysis to support efficient utilization of recruitment resources.
• Link TA effectiveness and optimization agenda to ensure enablement of organizational “buy vs. build” strategy.
• Design and evaluate variable recruiting resource models (contract recruiters, RPO resources, internal flexible recruitment team) to address strategic hiring projects beyond capacity of BU recruitment teams.
• Create solution frameworks to be deployed in BU. Support and provide global oversight to ensure best value is achieved given variability in cost, flexibility and quality in each model.
• Partner with global HRBLs to forecast hiring needs and critical skill sets that span across Bus and ensure insights are triangulated with BU TA leads.
Continuous Improvement: Ensure that TA processes, policies and guides are up to date and communicated. Identify means to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of TA model. Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline, improve and implement existing and new processes as well as monitor for effectiveness and compliance.
Capability Building:Lead the overall capability agenda for the global talent acquisition function to ensure recruiting teams (across MBS and COE) have skills required to deliver against all parts of their roles - process manager, marketer, talent advisor to the business, candidate relationship manager and social media guru.
• Oversee development of global talent acquisition curriculum as part of our TA Academy focusing on TA process, systems, behavioral interviewing and facilitation skills.
• Ensure recruitment team is trained to deliver against common standards, processes, and measures to ensure consistent delivery of value to business.
Measurement, analytics and reporting:
• Build out, in partnership with Mondelez Business Services (MBS TA) and workforce planning (WFP) teams, data analytics to measure the ROI of TA programs, including metrics on source of hire, time to fill, measurement of candidate experience, quality of hire, source of hire and other spend.
• Lead design and execution of recruiting metrics and reporting to identify performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Create measures on hire quality that support the talent acquisition teams contribution to a high performing/winning culture
• Turn data into insights to support process changes and tool selection for greatest efficiency and effectiveness as well as support business decision making related to talent.
Integration: Connector of TA into other process areas (WFA, workforce planning, etc). Key point of contact for M&A activities to help onboarding of organizations into any TA related processes and technologies.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree, advanced degree MBA or MA Occ Psychology, HR or related field a decided plus.
• Prior leadership level experience in a global multinational with complex matrix environments. Prior FMCG industry experience a plus but not required.
• Advantageous for this individual to have prior Workday experience (ATS or HCM), design and implementation a plus.
• Prior experience working with Shared Service Centres or RPO as part of the matrix of TA advantageous to this role.
• Advanced capabilities in presentation and business case creation
• Experience working in cross functional teams on shared agendas.
