We have been piloting successful innovative customer value solutions in North America. To enable the acceleration of these customer solutions, we are establishing the executive role of end to end supply chain solutions in NA.
The Supply Chain Customer Solutions Leader is a critical leadership position, responsible for the alignment of the NA customer solutions strategy with the MD Supply Chain strategy. The main responsibility of this executive is to build and deploy holistic supply chain customer solutions which deliver the most customer value. Serves as the primary Supply Chain liaison with the regional commercial leadership and supply chain functions (Plan, Make, Source, Deliver) to ensure achievement of aligned customer goals and objectives. The ideal location is either Somerville or Bridgewater, NJ.
This Executive will proactively coordinate cross-functional resources required:
Customer Focus: Translating customer needs to end to end supply chain capability and solutions in the region.
Excellence in Execution: Deploying patient continuum solutions to drive significant customer value and exceed customer expectations.
Strategic Customer Group: Working with commercial partners / teams to support strategic business plans by aligning supply chain & commercial strategies and tactics to drive value.
Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to understand customer needs and translate external customer requirements into supply chain capability and solutions.
• Conduct effective input processes, including environmental scans, customer insight, industry trends, and benchmarking processes. Develop and maintain external partnerships to gather high quality inputs.
• Partner with Commercial, Deliver and Global Supply Chain S&D to align region strategies and priorities.
• Collaborate with the commercial, S&D and deliver partners to develop and implement continuum of care solutions to effectively meet customer requirements.
• Identify and prioritize customer centric end-to-end supply chain solutions, while simplifying and standardizing for impact (Fewer, Bigger, Better, Faster).
• Ensure End-to-End supply chain processes are supporting customer and business needs, addressing when / where not, and working with functional leads to drive improvements.
• Represent the customer and serve as interface between the Global Franchise and the Regional Supply Chain Team, including a strong connection to the local / regional organizations.
• Support / own talent development of Supply Chain functions to build capabilities in the region and create a strong pipeline of leaders.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, or related field is required; Graduate degree/studies in science, business, engineering, finance, organizational management or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in Healthcare; background in healthcare / regulatory dependent sector is desirable.
• Experience in Supply Chain and / or Commercial is preferred.
• Demonstrated collaboration with customers to drive value (including hospitals, distributors externally, or Strategic Customer Group, various supply chain groups, and commercial operations internally.
• Minimum 5 years’ managerial experience with oversight of direct and indirect teams.
• Proven success in:

◦ Delivering 'best in class' business results through innovative customer focused solutions.

◦ Creating operational improvement using process excellence tools and leadership.
◦ Understanding the linkages in supply chain from demand planning through delivery to customer.
◦ Building interdependent partnerships to optimize value proposition with limited authority.
• Ability to travel up 50% domestically.
