Johnson & Johnson Consumer Group of Companies is seeking a Regional Franchise Supply Chain Planning Directorlocated in Skillman, NJ.
Johnson & Johnson Consumer Group of Companies develops and markets consumer healthcare, baby care, and beauty/skin care products that address the needs of consumers and health care professionals and incorporate the latest innovations. The portfolio includes heritage brand JOHNSON’S® Baby and leading skin care brands such as NEUTROGENA®, AVEENO®, and CLEAN & CLEAR®. Products are classified as OTC drugs and cosmetics.
Responsibilities:
• Represent Supply Chain on the Franchise Commercial Board and coordinate all forecast, customer service, and inventory balancing activities across the supply chain.
• Directly lead the demand management team in delivering accurate demand and shipping forecasts and providing meaningful market intelligence to achieve sustainable growth and to exceed overall business expectations.
• Develop and deploy long-term forecast plans, direct and ensure that appropriate planning processes and systems in place are compliant with corporate policies.
• Identify expectations with customers leveraging our Customer Focused Teams and create processes to effectively meet them.
• The Director collaborates on planning, forecasting and replenishment to achieve improvement in sales growth, reduction in reverse distribution, and cost per case
• Partner with Supply Planning to ensure Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Deliver business partners adequately support business tradeoffs regarding demand – supply balancing scenarios and overall inventory management.
• Establish effective forecasting communications and common goals and objectives across squads and functional areas and monitors supply chain activity including integration of customer data where most applicable.
• Directs design, development and implementation of best in class demand planning processes and drives a consistent integrated demand planning strategy across multiple squads within the Franchise.
• Leadership role in inventory and service management, proactive risk analysis, and Franchise sales and operations planning process (S&OP).
• The position reports to the Senior Director of NA Regional Supply Chain Planning.
Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. A MBA is highly preferred. A focused degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• It is required that the candidates have a minimum of 10 years combined experience in operations or related field (Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, Project Management, Procurement, Purchasing, Customer Support, Contract Management, Materials Management).
• Demonstrated experience in Consumer Packaged Goods demand management within a Large ERP (e.g. SAP) platform is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years people management/supervisory experience is required.
• The ability to communicate upward to Board level Commercial partners is required.
• This role will be based in Skillman, NJ and requires up to 10% international / domestic travel.
