Actelion is a leader in the field of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Our portfolio of PAH treatments covers the spectrum of disease, from WHO Functional Class (FC) II through to FC IV, with oral, inhaled and intravenous medications.
Job Summary
This Product Director will lead the development and execution of Customer Experience Marketing for the PAH franchise. In this role, this individual will be responsible for the development and execution of innovative stakeholder marketing approaches to support the patient and provider journey for the PAH brands. This includes patient activation and retention strategies, HCP contracting, access and provider services designed to achieve short and long-term business objectives for the franchise. This leader will work closely with PAH Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Agency Partners, Advocacy and Field Sales.
Job Responsibilities
The PD will be directly responsible for the following:
•Lead development and execution of an integrated customer experience strategy.
•Partner with the Market Access team on material development and field execution strategy.
•Partner with Commercial Excellence team to identify, analyze and report on key brand performance metrics, identifying insights and opportunities to enhance the customer experience
•Partner with the Professional Marketing team to execute a comprehensive commercial strategy for the PAH franchise
•Partner with the Sales Training and Sales Management teams to create and implement training materials for customer experience solutions Lead development and execution of patient engagement strategy (including activation and retention tactics)
•Be accountable for directing, managing and monitoring spend within assigned budget.

•A minimum of B.A./B.S. is required.
•A minimum of 10 years relevant experience of which 5 years are business experience in the healthcare industry with a minimum of 3 years demonstrated leadership in Marketing, Market Access, or Sales, with a focus on patient and stakeholder journey is required.
•Equivalent combination of advanced degree and less experience may be considered.
•MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
•Experience working with customers and translating customer needs to the broader organization is preferred.
•Must demonstrate strong leadership presence through influencing without authority with high-level management, detail orientation, and excellent strategic thinking. This position requires extensive interactions with multiple stakeholders.
•A demonstrated ability to partner and work with multiple agencies/vendors, manage budgets and projects, cross-functionally, cross-geography, and with cross-company teams of high-level managers and executives is required.
•An ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, lead teams, gain alignment and driving decision making is required.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills are required along with demonstrated presentation skills.
•Strong executive communication skills are required.
