Director S&OP
We welcome you to join Philips Ultrasound as a Director S&OP in our Bothell, WA location.
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Guide and drive the demand and supply on BG level in such a way that global availability of products is optimized. Formulates the future strategic directions on BG level.
• Assesses new developments and identifies new opportunities for Philips.
• Oversees the global developments, and determines the implications for his domain.
Intervenes in case of deviations of pre-defines border values of stock levels.
• Lead the Availability Management group on BG level.
Is consulted as a senior specialist and asked for projects to investigate feasibility of new businesses, applications concepts and models.
You are responsible for
Manage the monthly medium/long term planning process and the weekly supply-demand planning process in order to prepare in-time for capacity creation/reduction and the procurement of long-lead-time components.
• Formulates the future strategic directions on BG level.
• Coordinate demand and supply on BG level in such a way that World-wide availability of products is optimized. Intervene in case of deviations of pre-defines border values of stock levels.
• Assesses new developments and identifies new opportunities for Philips
• Oversees the global developments, and determines the implications for his domain.
• Leads a large team at BG level
• Conducts scenario planning and risk analysis
• Manage the integral inventory levels of the BIU with objective to realize the availability targets.
• Manage phasing in / phasing out in close cooperation with product/marketing management and the industrial project team. The aim is to introduce new products in-time and phase-out products without obsolete finished products and components.
• Prepare suppliers/factories for long term sales plans
• Define and agree on availability performance and inventories
• Initiates and participates in BIU and supply chain improvement processes
• Defines opportunities for improvement driven by operational excellence, customer satisfaction and cost reduction
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
• Master’s degree preferred
• APICS CPIM certified
• 10+ years of professional experience within:
◦ Multiple areas of Supply Chain
◦ Influencing and driving change within Supply & Commercial functions
• Building and motivating a dynamic, diverse and high performing teams
• Experience in Ultrasound a plus
• Strategic thinking/planning including out of the box thinking and tenacity to find solutions to problems both within and outside the company.
• Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to success
• Strong project management capabilities, with validated experience.
• Strong track-record of senior relationship management
• Demonstrated success in working across organizational boundaries, as well as working in a global organization across various cultures and departments.
• Attention to detail and strong eye for quality
• Extraordinary communication and negotiation skills, preferably across geographic boundaries
