Job Description
Gore has a goal of achieving a scalable, core enterprise architecture supporting Enterprise capabilities of Business Discipline and Integrated Digital Solutions. This commitment will provide leadership to align process and data management capabilities to Enterprise, Division, and Functional teams to improve operational effectiveness, customer engagement, and develop new capabilities needed for business model transformation. The Business Process Leader will help drive the design and implementation of a prioritized set of initiatives for the Supply Chain (SC) to activate and realize Divisional strategies. These types of roles typically serve to develop a talent pipeline for subsequent roles in our organization.
The Business Process Leader will:
• In partnership with the SC Leaders, develop scenarios to shift work and information across Gore to achieve Enterprise strategic goals:
◦ Co-create options for transformation road map(s)
◦ Partner to develop scenarios to navigate conflicts between short-term business needs and long-term business goals
• Develop vision and strategy for end-to-end process and data harmonization within and across functions using:
◦ High level functional columns (Sales and Marketing, Plan, Source / Deliver, Manufacture, R&D / Engineering, etc.)
◦ High level end to end process (Idea to Market, Market to Opportunity, Opportunity to Order, Order to Cash, etc.)
• Work closely with business and functional leadership teams to develop and execute a business process road map
• Design performance and improvement goals / targets / metrics
• Guide digital process automation decisions and investments, including supporting technology
• Lead or participate in governance process for the functional or end-to-end business processes and data
Responsibilities include:
• Develop and provide leadership to the implementation of the SC Manufacturing business process and data management strategy and objectives
◦ Partner with SC Manufacturing Function, Divisional, and Enterprise leaders to translate functional strategies into a road map that integrates work and information within and across functions
• Cultivate and apply business process management and data management capabilities across Gore with a focus on the Supply Chain Manufacturing process
• Provide leadership for the Supply Chain Manufacturing business process and data management associates and partnering with Enterprise, Business and Data Architects to define commitments and expectations across these commitments:
• As a project / program champion, partner with the appropriate functional – be accountable and responsible for refining/confirming then ensuring the project meets its project goals and objectives.
Qualifications
Required Job Qualifications:
• Bachelors’ degree
• Minimum 10 years leading teams, projects and/or processes in a complex manufacturing environment
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role
• Working knowledge of all the Supply Chain functions (Plan, Source, Manufacture, Deliver)
• Prior experience:
◦ Designing and executing transformational initiatives
◦ Successfully partnering cross functionally to drive business results and remove roadblocks
◦ Driving Lean / Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives
• Demonstrated understanding of process from a value and waste concept
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 20%, including international (initial orientation may be more extensive)
Desired Job Qualifications:
• Bachelors’ degree in Supply Chain or related technical field
• Six Sigma Certification
• Prior experience:
◦ Working with Manufacturing Operations Management systems (ERP, MES, QMS, LIMS, etc.)
◦ Leading change management initiatives
