Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. is recruiting for a Director - Contract Strategy and Analytics. This position location preference will be Horsham, PA, with flexibility to Titusville, NJ location.
Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson franchises.
This position is responsible for:
• Leading a team of Project Managers and Contracting Analytics Professionals who evaluate pricing strategies for Janssen products across the managed care, physician, institutional and long-term care channels, to ensure that they can be efficiently implemented.
• Establishing optimal contracting processes and systems, and for ensuring that sufficient resources are available across the contract continuum to manage contract strategy implementations and customer exception contract operations.
• Leading system solution programs and projects on behalf of Janssen Pharmaceuticals, to ensure a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
• In addition, this position leads the development of analytics to assist in the development of strategies and measure the contract performance across channels and customers.
• This individual will have direct interactions with Pricing and Strategic Contracting Offer Development, Janssen Brand teams, Janssen IT, JJHCS Enterprise Contracting Solutions & Government Operations and SCG Account Teams.
Qualifications
• Education - bachelor’s Degree is required. MBA or related advanced degree preferred
• Business Experience - Minimum of 8 years of healthcare industry experience required
• A minimum of 4 years of project management, finance, business development, or analytics experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of pricing or contracting experience is required
• Demonstrated Credo mindset and actions
• Ability to communicate effectively with others, including defending logical business arguments
• Ability to influence without authority at all levels, including senior leaderships required. Ability to work with all levels in the organization and with customers
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions in an ambiguous environment
• Strategic Thinking; ability to leverage industry knowledge to anticipate and prepare for the future
• Proven track record of working in a matrixed environment. People leadership skills needed to manage staff of various levels
• Provide strategic direction for system changes and implementations.
• Preferred Skills
• Experience in interacting or managing external suppliers preferred
• Demonstrated success in areas such as Finance, Business Analytics, Account Development, Reimbursement or Offer Development preferred
• Understanding of decentralized and cross functional business models preferred
• High level of expertise in Interdependent Partnering and communication
• Location – Horsham or Titusville Location – Expectation is that this candidate can travel between these two locations and JJHCS in Piscataway. Brands Supported are in Horsham (Preferred)
• 10% travel outside of the New Jersey / Pennsylvania campus requirements above
