Global Director Sales - IGA

Function Specific Activities:
Within your role you will serve as the primary global contact for IGA and the Coca-Cola Systems and support the customer’s business in all countries including the USA. The position will require 40-50% travel. The role will include:
• Responsibility for the company’s overall customer strategies, business results, and relationship for IGA International.
• Working with the extended Coca-Cola bottler partners and key/national account managers to communicate the Coca-Cola global vision, strategies, and business plan for IGA and Coca-Cola, share best practices and provide support to regions/ countries.
• Understanding of customer’s business needs, identifying and managing issues faced and opportunities with various customer buyers in order to develop viable solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop the systems understanding of the customer’s strategies, needs and expectations of us on a global basis in order to develop and execute business strategies and plans that create value for them and for the system.
• Build value creation strategies for the customer on a global basis and provide direction and support for the development of local business plans in each key country in which the customer does business.
• Creates and supports the development of the broad-based relationships with the key decision-makers at the customer in order to build trust and improve our business opportunities with the customer.
• Coordinate activities and communications within the Coca-Cola system to ensure the company speaks with one voice and fosters collaboration between key account teams and key bottlers to ensure system support of our customers strategies, global initiatives, and common KBI’s/success measures.
• Ensure superior customer service through identifying and resolving issues, as needed, and through support of our bottlers customer service capabilities (such as category management, supply chain management, information sharing, etc.)
• Provides overall stewardship of the business, both with the customer and with the company, through tracking and communicating common performance measurements and opportunities.
• Works with key account managers and group directors on their “virtual account team” to support their development plans and assist in negotiations/re-negotiations.
Organization impact/influence:
The levels of contacts are quite senior, both inside and outside the company. Within the company, it will include the Vice presidents/managing directors of the key account teams in each country, division customer marketing leaders and division presidents, customer development VP’s and other key account and global account directors. Outside the company it includes the senior management of the customer at their global headquarters and within their regional structures as well as with the chief customer officers at our key bottlers.
