Description
The Opportunity
Rodan + Fields is seeking an experienced Learning Design lead to create a roadmap for learning design, production and evolution of programs and products from a creative perspective with the goal of empowering R+F Consultants to succeed in their businesses. They will partner with L&D team to design and execute effective creative content and communications that align with the R+F brand standards.
The ideal candidate will make proactive, strategic recommendations for improving the Consultant experience through field development touchpoints (events, online engagements, etc.). The individual in this role must be able to think outside of the box and innovate creative solutions that help drive revenue goals. This individual must be proactive, resourceful, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities without jeopardizing quality of execution. The ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal direction is key.
Responsibilities
• Ideate and design new creative strategies to design and deliver field learning programs, events and digital experiences, such as presentations, flyers, training guides, data visualizations/infographics, and multimedia experiences
• Execute creative and tactical updates to branded field-facing assets as needed
• Support the design and creative needs of the Field Development team with a primary focus on Learning & Development
• Work with content owners to storyboard presentations and learning experiences
• Design and develop digital content for virtual training programs
• Assist in developing creative briefs for campaigns and projects, and advise on strategy and execution details
• Lead creative concept design and direction for L&D and field related campaigns and projects
• Travel as needed to field events to ensure proper execution from a creative perspective and be able to make recommendations for improvements
• Oversee team of instructional designers
Qualifications
• At least 8 years of design experience – proven high level of multimedia and presentation design is a must; brand identity design and experience designing in the social commerce channel is a plus
• Creative and conceptual thinker that can turn great ideas into designed creative content that helps drive revenue goals
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite or other content authoring tools
• Expertise in presentation design tools: PowerPoint and Keynote. Knowledge of Prezi is a plus.
• Some knowledge of motion graphics and interaction design is preferred
• Strong knowledge of graphic design standards and typography
• Communicates effectively and concisely in all email and verbal correspondence
• Flexible with design direction and ability to positively respond to feedback
• Self-disciplined and motivated in an environment that requires a strong attention to detail
• Ability to view work across media holistically and with brand consistency a must
• Ability to multitask and positively adjust to a rapidly changing environment
• Role may be remote: 5-10% travel required
