Position Overview:Primary Responsibilities
• The Director of IT will be over supporting the Fountain and Minute Maid IT business units in the United States and Canada
• He/she will have three to four direct reports, $5-$10mm budget – will need to build out the roadmap for budget each year and manage to that budget in allocating the proper resources against that budget
• Accountable for end-to-end IT services delivery to the Coca Cola North America (CCNA), Food Service On-Premise (FSOP) – aka fountain business, The Minute Maid Company (TMMC) and Canada business units, including planning, design, delivery, deployment and support
• Managing large teams of 3rd party contractors and consultants, can be anywhere from 50-100 people at any given time
• Oversee IT Capability Roadmap planning and development in alignment with the IT & business strategy. Champion technology capabilities growth and create competitive advantage.
• Oversee Resource Planning/Scheduling, Delivery Monitoring, Financial Control, and Value Measurement of the Portfolio under management
• Implement agile program/project management policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent and transparent execution across the portfolio.
• Establish a robust Executive Communication framework for effective and timely communication of the portfolio progress. Utilize communication as the vehicle to convey stories of IT value, gain alignments on strategic visions, and build multifaceted coalitions to influence the outcomes in a franchise system
• The Director of IT will partner closely with the stakeholders across the CCNA IT organization and Global IT to understand strategic alignment opportunities, identify dependencies/risks, balance challenging trade-offs between short/long term goals/priorities, and assess the holistic value/impact on the CCNA business and plans.
• Act as a trusted technology advisor and collaborate closely with the IT and Business Executive Leadership, including CCNA CIO, on the strategic priorities and communications needs.
• Drive innovation and proactively monitor direction of strategic partners, and technology
• Model a culture that improves the organization’s comfort with the speed of change, challenging assumptions, relentless pursuit of improvement – all with a high sense of personal accountability.
• Serve as a Coach and Mentor within the organization and provide career coaching and direction to team members
Function Specific Activities:
Requirements:
• BA/BS required
• Agile experience
• Experience in IT application deployment within a large and complex environment with an application such as SAP, Salesforce, Workday or something similar
• Program management experience managing multiple projects concurrently with budgets in the millions of dollars and responsible for managing ~50 -100 people at a time
• Ability to build long-term relationships to partner with internal clients such as executive leadership, Operations, Finance, and Data and Reporting
• Ability to partner and collaborate with all the stakeholders inside of IT such as MDM, App Dev, InfoSec, Cloud, DevOps, etc.
Preferred:
• BA/BS in Information Technology, Business, Management or industry related
curriculum preferred
• Big 4, or related consulting background, consulting experience
• SAP, Salesforce, MuleSoft, Workday, J.D. Edwards experience
