HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Direct Business Partnering: You’ll be directly interacting with Business Unit leadership to provide Finance guidance around reports, analytics, forecasts, strategic plans, business plans, providing subject matter expertise and consultation with other business units and functions to ensure consistency of processes and sharing of best practices and examining financial performance. You’ll also be communicating results to management teams, investigating opportunities for profit enhancement and recommending actions that promote improved financial results
Financial Management Activities: You’ll be providing leadership and direction to finance professionals responsible for evaluating financial models to be used in economic/financial research, approving the analysis that is used for business decisions and strategy development, leading the operational rhythm for the business unit, setting the planning and forecasting process and related activities, coordinating execution across teams/ functions and will also be responsible for the performance and results of a business unit or function. In addition, you’ll be reviewing and approving budgeting, reporting, and performance analytics work products
Decision Support: You’ll be evaluating the business' operating results, approving short and long-term forecasts of business operations, and recommending strategy for improvement. You’ll also be making decisions guided by functional strategies and priorities as well as providing complex financial insights, guidance, and solutions for Senior Director and VP roles across functions and business units using data provided by less senior roles
Administrative Activities: You’ll be ensuring the execution/completion of projects, key due dates, identification of opportunities and risks, and financial metrics, ensuring project financials are in conformance with GAAP and company accounting policies and serving as the back up to Sr. Director or VP as needed
Personal Career Development: You’ll be participating in functional or career development training to increase knowledge and skills
People Performance Management: You’ll be conducting performance reviews as People Manager, embracing the responsibility of supervising and encouraging professional development of direct reports and recognizing and rewards performance appropriately
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance/Business-Related field
• Significant years of related work experience
• People Management experience
• Advanced analytical, problem solving, decision making, and communication skills and detail orientation
Bonus Points:
• Master’s Degree in Finance/Business-Related field
• Advanced PC skills with an emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Proficient knowledge of ERP and other financial planning systems (e.g. SAP)
