General Summary
Primarily responsible for coordinating and executing all financial budgeting and analysis activities for the IT/Business Process outsourcing contract. Oversees Service Provider invoice and payment processes. Additionally, the IT Financial Analyst will also serve as the subject matter expert for financial needs of peers within IT, including budget variance analysis, project startup requirements, investment recommendations, and accounting guidance.
Principle Accountabilities
The following Principle Accountabilities are associated with the IT Partner (MSP):
• Work with IT Partner Performance Metrics Lead to prepare Service Provider performance data to identify trends, issues and improvement opportunities
• Lead the annual budget planning process for the IT/Business Process expenditures associated with IT Partner
• Lead capital request process for all IT/Business Process related capital projects with IT Partner
• Review all Service Provider invoices, applies service level credits as appropriate and recommends release of payment to management
• Works with IT Partner Governance Lead and IT/Business Process team to resolve billing/payment disputes with Service Provider
• Continuously analyze Service Provider pricing structure against contract and initiate changes when pricing changes are required (i.e. RU Volume Bands exceeded)
• Ensure that all financial governance/regulatory reporting processes are deployed and properly implemented both internally and with Service Provider
• Develop and implement appropriate chargeback mechanisms as appropriate
• Work with IT Partner Performance Lead to monitor effectiveness of Service Provider performance relative to improvement plans and financial impact
• Assist in developing Service Provider financial performance findings and recommendations to the Operations, Management and Executive Committees
• Maintains Service Provider Financial Performance Report and updates the IT Partner Governance Lead as required
• Works with Business Manager and IT Partner Performance Metrics Lead to ensure missed service levels result in appropriate service credits
• Participate in relevant IT Partner governance and/or team meetings to understand current pain points, issues and escalations
• Monitor financial performance improvement plans progress to plan and prepare reporting packages
Non-IT Partner (MSP) Activities:
• Assist with the creation, tracking, and reporting of IT’s annual operating plan. Provide actionable insights based on monthly and ad-hoc analysis.
• Facilitate daily IT operations and enable speed-to-investment as the expert on financial readiness.
• Manage IT policy creation, administration, and communication.
Job Specifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, MBA strongly desired, or related field required
• 5+ years’ experience in a financial support management capacity, with a strong focus on IT contracts and outsourcing
• Experience in working in outsourced delivery environments (with either a Buyer or Service Provider)
• Experience in Shared Services, matrix environment is a strong asset
• High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint specifically)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated, proactive approach to improvement and work in and support a team environment
• Capable of working on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality
• Build effective & productive working relationships across business towers
• Ability to demonstrate effective presentation skills through clear expression of information and appeal to the audience both aesthetically and persuasively
Skills Required
• In-depth understanding of financial accounting policies, practices, tools and techniques specifically as they apply to IT/Business Process products and services
• General Accounting Principles, Budgeting, Forecasting, Invoicing, Asset Management
• Thorough knowledge of finance controls, processes, and systems, as well as cost estimation and budget management
• Strong interpersonal, oral/written communication, and organizational skills
• Highly experienced in managing and understanding general accounting principles
• Strong critical thinking skills with ability to think through the intricacies of a given situation

• Working in SAP experience.
Working Conditions
Normal corporate office environment, 0-10% travel as required by project assignment need.
