Job Description
Copart is seeking a Finance professional to lead the Treasury Team in managing the day-to-day Treasury needs for the company's 170+ North American locations, including cash flow forecasting, debt compliance, insurance, and capital approval planning.
Duties will include:
• Lead team in supporting all US and Canadian locations with banking and banking supplies;
• Oversee Treasury banking relationships. Negotiate bank and service fees. Evaluate and Implement new banking products to improve and simplify company operations;
• Prepare weekly and ad-hoc cash flow reporting and forecasts for Executive Management
• Prepare and submit quarterly debt compliance to lenders
• Manage cash deployment (Revolver draws and paydown/Investments) to minimize interest expense and maximize interest income
• Manage the global insurance program supporting purchasing of Property, Casualty, Financial, and Professional lines of coverage and handling day-to-day insurance requests;
• Manage and run the Capital Approval Planning process by scheduling meetings, supporting business case modeling, and implementing policies to improve the Capital Approval process.
• Handle Month/Quarter/Year-end close responsibilities for Treasury including approving JEs, researching variances, and completing required compliance documentation.
• Support IR function by tracking analyst sentiment and estimates
• Support Tax with Transfer pricing modelling and documentation
• Support Global partners on International Banking
• Manage the International Funding for Copart subsidiaries
• Ad-Hoc Financial Research and Modelling requests for Executive Management
Requirements
• CPA or CTP preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a Treasury organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact with Executive Management to communicate relevant issues and needs
