PepsiCo North America Nutrition – Director Digital Strategy
PepsiCo North America Nutrition is looking for a passionate, dynamic marketer who has a strong interest in leveraging digital channels to enhance and expand the brand’s relationship with consumers. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the fields of digital media, data applied campaigns and marketing & ad technology.
This role is a part of the NAN’s Consumer Engagement division (Media Planning, Digital Strategy & Partnerships), As the leader of the digital function the primary focus of this role is to own the conceptualization, execution, and optimization of digital marketing programs for NAN brands activation. This functional leader will be responsible for developing an expert level understanding of the current owned channels and consumer data strategy. This person would lead a team to implement a data driven marketing approach through 1P/2P/3P integration to build audience segment based digital activation.
The person will work closely with both internal cross-functional partners including Insights, Marketing Strategy & Creative and PR marketers as well as external agency partners including creative and media agencies to bring breakthrough campaigns to life that grow the business.
The NAN Digital Strategy team is focused on building sustainable digital marketing capabilities that will deliver growth for nutrition brand. This person along with leading the team through collaboration with cross-functional partners would seek business advantage in a world of personalized digital marketing, where CRM and addressable channels converge, and decisions must be made in real time to aggregate effective reach and deliver the right message at the right time to fulfill NAN’s vision to drive business transformation.
Major Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic, creative and technical leadership for all digital marketing programs
• Lead custom digital media program execution and content creation
• Lead the development of strategy that informs when, where and how a brand should connect on digital channels; redefining communications across platforms.
• Own and manage marketing technology infrastructure including CRM, DMP, and ad serving software systems
• Manage 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data sources in order to develop, activate and measure audience segments of NAN shoppers and consumers
• Partner with other groups in promotions, shopper marketing, and public relations to develop best in class integrated marketing solutions
• Manage team of three direct reports
Qualifications/Requirements
Person will possess
• BA required, MBA preferred in business, marketing, or related field.
• 10+ years of digital strategy experience or equivalent environment.
• Proven experience leading and collaborating within cross-discipline teams and agency partners
• In-depth experience with integrated marketing and communications programs including strategic development, creative development, analysis and implementation.
• Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful digital and social strategies and programs.
• Relationship builder, demonstrating an ability to listen and respond to a wide variety of constituencies.
• Strong communicator and presenter, able to present and articulate persuasive and cohesive presentations and points of view that ultimately drive strategy
• Candid communicator who can organize, clarify and communicate complex ideas quickly, succinctly and accurately.
• Self-starter and collaborator with the ability to engage with stakeholders directly, set agenda and goals and drive the conversation to achieve goals.
• Ability to work and communicate clearly and effectively with both business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
