Job Description
The Marketing Director will develop the 2019+ innovation and consumer experience strategy for Frito Lay Foodservice (Away from Home). This is a rapidly growing space with many new opportunities in a variety of channels (Restaurants, Lodging, Recreation, Workplace, Education, etc.). The LG1 will report to the Sr. Director for Frito Lay Innovation. The Marketing Director will focus on delivering growth, building brands and driving portfolio transformation within the identified priority channels/customers.
This leader will also oversee key Better for You businesses and innovation pipeline for key channels within Foodservice (K-12 for example).
Critical Experiences Gained in Role:
-Deep understanding of PepsiCo Foodservice/Away from Home
-Sharpen strategic stills by transforming Frito Lay Foodservice into a brand-building channel
-Total portfolio visibility and leading strategy for brand fit in a specific channel
-Taking insights to action by developing products and experiences that benefit a consumer and partner’s need
-How to lead a large team through direct reports, internal cross-functionals and agency partnerships
-End to End innovation and brand experiences (concept to launch)
-Overseeing a team that leads creative including packaging, websites and video to build brands and partnerships
-How to build programs that meet the needs of multiple stakeholders: business to business partners, Frito Lay sales teams and final consumer
-How to chart the course for growth through the AOP and PSP process by owning key sections and delivering them to internal teams
Qualifications/Requirements
8+ years of marketing experience with building brands in CPG or a related field. MBA preferred.
