What You'll Be Doing
As the VP of Finance for OXO, you are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the OXO brand financial results, the sufficiency of its internal controls, as well as all the financial budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning, and other financial analysis to support the brand. In this role, you will provide strategic financial support to the OXO brand leadership team to help achieve the financial targets.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead the monthly/quarterly accounting close for the OXO brand
• Lead the annual budget, forecast and strategic planning process for OXO
• Provide financial leadership and analysis to the OXO leadership team
• Provide strong strategic leadership on Where to Play and How to Win choices including licensing and acquisition
• Build relationships with Corporate and RMO finance leaders to ensure effective and efficient collaboration
• Drive continuous improvement and automation of processes to shift time of team to more analysis and value-add activities
• Attract, retain and develop the finance team through active performance management and coaching
• The position will also lead other significant projects, which vary based on business transactions and priorities
Requirements For Consideration
• 12+ years of combined experience in accounting and/or finance roles
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis or related strategic planning roles
• 5+ years of demonstrated team management/leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
• CPA preferred, advanced degree a plus
• Demonstrated experience managing a P&L for an operational business unit
• Consumer product sector experience preferred
• Experience managing acquisitions preferred
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality against deadlines
• Demonstrated ability working in a matrix organization, building strong partnerships, and accessing available resources
• Track record of effectively leading multiple projects and balancing competing priorities
• Demonstrated experience developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
• Demonstrated experience working closely with large, complex external customers on joint business plans and value creation
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Demonstrated experience leading and building a multi-discipline, high-performance work teams/groups and managing resources to meet organizational goals across multiple projects
• Superior oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills; ability to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgment and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with internal and external customers, and senior management, and ability to communicate with others in challenging situations using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to manage/reduce tension or conflict and maintain professionalism in accordance with corporate standards
• Ability to act as a managerial adviser on financial issues with a view towards reaching strategic decisions; ability to manage conflicting demands for resources through negotiation
• Ability to perform in a “hands-on” environment that demands a consultative approach and solutions that span multiple environments in a business area
• Self-starter, willingness to accept challenges, will take the lead and execute
• Ability and willingness to accept responsibility, willingness to challenge established practices and draw relevant conclusions, including the persistence and willingness to take responsible risks, and to market and implement change within the department
• Ability to perform in a highly visible and high pressure environment and exercise integrity and good judgment to resolve problems, ensure compliance, support company strategy and ensure adherence to our corporate code of conduct
