Description
Directs, creates, plans organizes, and analyzes business and strategic revenue plans and programs, customer program, competitive analyses, new business opportunities, and business plans and forecasts.
Provides a safe and productive work environment and recruits highly talented employees in support of company and organizational objectives.
General Summary:
To plan, organize, manage, develop strategies and control all aspects of account pricing activities to ensure profitable performance. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, applying science and engineering principles to all pricing activities, managing discounting strategies for all segments of FedEx customers and maintaining high productivity and accuracy in pricing process.
Knowldege/ Skills Considered a Plus:
• Proven pricing experience in increasing levels of responsibility
• Proven analytical and strategic thinking capability
• Proven negotiation and communication skills
• Proven experience in engineering productivity and quality of service improvements in a business process
• Proven strategic planning, innovative business solutions, and thought leadership
Domicile locations to be considered: Memphis, TN and Harrison, AR
Relocation assistance is available.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, mathematics, economics, computer science or other quantitative fields such as engineering/operations research.
Significant directly related experience in a corporate environment including demonstrably successful management experience (e.g., high performance ratings). International, air freight, pricing or package transportation industry experience.
Strong human relations, communications, and analytical skills.
A related Master's Degree equals two (2) years experience.
More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements.
