Summary
Samsung Electronics America is seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual with 12+ years experience to oversee Digital Marketing Campaigns.
As a key leader on the SEA Digital Marketing team, this position requires in depth knowledge of digital best practices and executions across owned, earned and paid channels. Accountable for performance-based results, the position requires the ability to operate on a strategic and tactical level while coordinating all aspects of new product launches, multi channel digital campaigns and carrier programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing clear guidance to their direct and or indirect reports, providing structure for digital marketing programs while working collaboratively with the demand generation and brand communication leads. Primary responsibilities include developing go to market plans while managing digital agency relationships, liaise with digital channel management, aggregate all digital launch details into one unified plan, and reporting campaign performance to SEA marketing along with optimization recommendations. The role requires a strong analytical mindset with a passion for user experience and relentless drive for delivering best in class, award winning 360 marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has successfully led a team to deliver large-scale campaigns across multiple digital channels delivering the desired results, on strategy, on budget and on time and garnered industry award recognition along the way.
Common/ Essential Duties and Responsibilities
CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT
• Create, manage, and analyze all programs across all digital customer touch points to ensure acquisition and retention goals are met.
• Working closely with the demand generation & brand communication teams, the Digital Campaign Manager is responsible for day-to-day management of campaign performance including vendor management, liaising with digital channel managers, carrier marketing leads while offering ongoing launch support, proactively providing campaign performance results and recommending optimization updates.
• Primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all multi channel digital campaigns.
• Cross departmental coordination to develop, implement and monitor new campaigns and report performance.
• Develop and test new campaign approaches based on previous results to better target users and improve overall campaign ROI.
REPORTING
• Drive in-depth quantitative analyses of marketing campaigns.
• Provide competitive views of mobile brands carrier campaigns and best in class campaign executions.
• Research, collect, and analyze data, leverage internal and external resources, and data sources to report on successes and actionable opportunities for new product introductions and multi channel programs.
• Drive analysis and reporting of digital campaign performance dashboards in conjunction with Insights and Digital Optimization teams.
MANAGEMENT
• Ability to lead a team providing strategic guidance and day-to-day leadership.
• Work with marketing, demand generation, carrier teams, retail, operations, legal and leadership teams within each team to set goals, refine strategy, and drive performance vs. goals and share campaign results.
• Work with cross functional launch teams in other areas of Samsung globally to leverage best practices and share knowledge.
• Manage outside vendors and serve as the liaison between outside services and internal stakeholders.
Required skills and experience
• Bachelors Degree
• 12+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing.
• Working knowledge of owned, earned and paid channel management.
• 1- 2 years of managerial experience.
• Previous direct responsibility for 7-figure budget.
• Excellent analytical skills to analyze large quantities of data.
• Proven experience with large scale, awarding winning product launches and multichannel campaigns.
• Strong digital creative acumen with a background in pushing the envelope in digital creative.
• Team player mentality and strong attention to detail required.
• Knowledge of Omniture, Google Analytics or other Web Analytic services.
• Experience with A/B and/or multivariate testing.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
