Position Summary:
The Director of Digital Commerce will be responsible for leading and evolving e-Commerce businesses through driving innovation in technology, engaging content, developing people and teams, displaying financial acumen, and implementing partnerships across operations, merchandising, digital marketing, and customer service teams in support of e-Commerce strategy. This role will lead the Digital Commerce team and will report into the Sr. Director, Digital Customer Intensity, Center of Competence. The candidate will participate in all aspects of the eCommerce development lifecycle – strategy, requirement definition, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Job Responsibilities:
• Partner with Global and Regional eCommerce teams and customer service teams to translate eCommerce and customer service business strategy into technology solutions.
• Provide technology vision and leadership to global digital team and project teams to ensure company is delivering high quality digital experiences.
• Provide strong functional leadership to a team of developers through subject matter expertise, technology vision and code reviews/guidance.
• Keep up with the fast-evolving eCommerce and customer service technologies and industry trends and make recommendation on new products or solution sets that adds value to the eCommerce business.
• Provide guidance and oversight to development teams to ensure SDLC process is followed and the solution that is delivered is on-time, on-budget, and meets business objectives.
• Encourage and mentor team members to maximize their abilities.
• Work with business managers and other technology peers and team members to design advanced technical solutions to solve key business opportunities and build appropriate roadmaps.
• Work with PMO and architecture group to evolve and optimize development methodology processes Drive efficiencies in the development organization through the use of tools, processes and effective resource management.
• Participate in selection and management of external resources.
• Ensure team compliance with development, security and other corporate policies and procedures.
• Accountable for overall architecture that includes Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, as well as third-party eCommerce technology providers (payment gateways, ratings and reviews provider, subscription services, etc.)
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business or a related field.
• 10+ years of overall technology experience in web and eCommerce software development role and a deep knowledge of software development methodologies.
• 3-5 years of experience with implementing eCommerce platforms preferably Salesforce Commerce Cloud and integration with other systems such as ERP, CRM, and payment systems.
• In-depth knowledge of digital marketing trends & tactics - social media, email marketing.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce, customer service, digital projects, and social media.
• Must have experience working in e-commerce application using tools like Demandware [ Salesforce Commerce Cloud] , Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, WCS, Hybris.
Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies:
• Knowledge of Consumer Electronics market and market trends would be preferred.
• Woking experience in Saleforce commerce cloud ( SFCC ) is a major plus.
