Position Overview:
Group Director IT, eCommerce & Customer Marketing
Reporting to the Head of Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) IT Strategy & Operations, this senior role will be accountable for hands-on leadership and end-to-end delivery of CCNA eCommerce and Customer Marketing initiatives. Leading a cross-functional team, this leader will be responsible for client engagement, planning, execution, and successful delivery of the innovative and differentiating capabilities that would enable CCNA eCommerce and customer marketing strategic vision. Partnering closely with the business and IT leaders across the system, he/she must be able to implement and manage practices that would enhance the portfolio agility and digitization velocity, while establishing sustainable frameworks to improve collaboration and reusability across the system.
The most immediate area of priority will be successful delivery of the eCommerce and Customer Marketing in-flight portfolio, establish an agile and collaborative operating model, drive a multi-year digital roadmap in close partnership with the supporting business executives, and lead the eCommerce and Customer Marketing 2019 Annual Business Plans.
Function Specific Activities:
Primary Responsibilities
• Accountable for end-to-end IT services delivery to the CCNA eCommerce and Customer Marketing businesses, including ideation, planning, design, delivery, deployment and support.
• Oversee IT Capability Roadmap planning and development in alignment with the digital transformation strategy. Champion eCommerce and leveraged use of digital across the North America system to accelerate revenue growth and create competitive advantage.
• Oversee Demand Control Processes, Resource Planning/Scheduling, Delivery Monitoring, Financial Control, and Value Measurement of the Portfolio under management
• Implement agile program/project management policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent and transparent execution across the portfolio.
• Establish a robust Executive Communication framework for effective and timely communication of the portfolio progress. Utilize communication as the vehicle to convey stories of IT value, gain alignments on strategic visions, and build multifaceted coalitions to influence the outcomes in a franchise system
• Partner closely with the stakeholders across the system including Global IT and bottler communities to understand strategic alignment opportunities, identify dependencies/risks, balance challenging trade-offs between short/long term goals/priorities, and assess the holistic value/impact on the CCNA business and plans.
• Act as a trusted technology advisor and collaborate closely with the IT and Business Executive Leadership, including CCNA CIO, on the strategic priorities and communications needs.
• Drive innovation and proactively monitor direction of strategic partners, technology and market trends to determine the potential impact and/or value to the enterprise. Collaborate with internal and external experts across the system to develop strategies for exporting and/or utilizing existing and emerging process/technologies.
• Model a culture that improves the organization’s comfort with the speed of change, challenging assumptions, relentless pursuit of improvement – all with a high sense of personal accountability.
• Serve as a Coach and Mentor within the organization and provide career coaching and direction to team members
Education
• BA/BS required. BA/BS in Information Technology, Business, Management or industry-related curriculum preferred
• MBA preferred
Required Experience
• +7 years of relevant industry experience with focus on eCommerce, marketing solutions, agile transformation, and/or modern architecture.
• World Class Program & Project Execution: ability to manage the delivery of multiple complex and large scale solution development initiatives (>$5 MM) across different functional/technical areas.
• Excellent understanding of Agile/DevOps operating model. Experience and passion to work in a fast-paced Agile environment, delivering functional features in small time duration while utilizing automation tool sets
• Expertise in executive communications and relationship management. Comfortable and confident when speaking with clients as an expert and able to articulate the strategic vision and gain alignment at various levels of the organization.
• Strategic and creative thinker with an open mind about new ideas and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
• Excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend sound conclusions and implementation strategies
• Team player with high emotional intelligence and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic franchise model
