This role is the finance leader to the Supply Chain Strategy and SCR (Supply Chain Reinvention) by providing analytics, insights and provides options related to the Mondelēz International North America Supply Chain Strategy, including SCR project and global ISC Finance initiatives. The successful individual must be able to analyze and interpret data to draw out insights and drive better decisions.
This position is part of a project team that is formulating a multi-year collection of projects that will result in substantial investment in our supply chain and will co-lead the NA ISC strategy core team. The ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and complexity, in addition to strong technical skills are critical to success in this role. This position has cross functional (i.e. Finance, Manufacturing, Engineering, CS&L) interaction with multiple levels of management on both technical and financial matters. Associate Director of ISC SCR will interface regularly with project team members as well as Regional and Corporate team members. Will own a pillar, system or tool or capability under our W1N philosophy.
This position will be in charge of the governance of global ISC finance initiatives in NA region including harmonization and improvement of closing, reporting and planning process of ISC finance with a dotted line into the Director of North America Supply Chain Strategy. Looks for continuous improvement opportunities. Will leads a team of five direct reports.
Responsibilities include:
Creates Supply Chain Reinvention strategy, determines investment scenarios and presents to Sr Management. Leads review and oversees P&L forecasts including building risk/opportunity profiles to help drive decisions across SCR program Leads the Finance governance and A/R ownership.
Oversees the team’s compilation of month-end analysis and supporting documents by project creating clear understanding of results (vs forecasts) – Presents to Senior Management. Reviews team analytics on sourcing results and reconcile variations to plan
Works with peers in Procurement on strategy for Raw and Pack sourcing optimization. Oversees the implementation of the global ISC finance initiatives in NA.
Experience leading a remote team.
Qualifications
Skills/Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science and/or Business degree in Accounting or Finance, M.B.A. preferred.
• 9+ years of Finance experience, at least 3-5 years managing people
• Strong analytical capabilities and familiarity with Capital projects evaluation and Earning Variation Analysis (EVA)
• Demonstrates strong financial, strategic, operational and business acumen – who manages collaboratively with all stakeholders.
• Ability to effectively work under pressure, managing multiple and changing priorities with strong achievement and results orientation.
• Strong influencing and communication skills and ability to lead informal teams including direct staff.
• Ability to communicate analysis in a clear, succinct and persuasive manner.
• Experience in a Shared Service Center environment and a matrix organization.
• People management (development and coaching) experience.
