Finance Director - Consumer Global Supply Chain FP&A COE

This position is responsible for the strategic financial leadership and management of the Consumer Global Financial Reporting & Analysis organization which provides support for a business with ~$14+ billion in annual Net Sales, delivering FP&A services covering areas such as planning & forecasting, regional consolidation, franchise and regional reporting and advanced analytics to both the Franchise and Regional BUF teams. This role will report to the VP of Finance for the NA Business Support COE with strong dotted lines to the Sr. Finance Director, Performance Reporting COE and the Consumer SC CFO. It will also require strong partnerships with the Consumer Group Finance Director and the Consumer BUF Regional Finance Directors and their teams. This role will be a key member of the Consumer SC CFO leadership team, Operations Controller’s Council, and NA COE Finance Leadership team.
The Consumer Global Supply Chain FP&A COE Director will have FP&A responsibility for each of the four consumer regions as well as global Consumer SC consolidations. This will require strong understanding of the region-specific business drivers to frame the messaging around financial forecast and actuals (gross profit margin, net cost change, cost actions, inventory and capital expenditures). This role will lead and influence the Consumer Supply Chain FP&A standardization agenda to streamline reporting processes, reduce complexity, eliminate non-value-added work, and identify and implement opportunities to leverage technology (GRM, TM1, etc.) to automate and/or generate predictive analytics. The Consumer FP&A Director owns implementation and adherence to the 52 week calendar, ensuring all deliverables related to BP and Performance Updates are anticipated and completed. Ad hoc projects will be part of the scope in partnership the Consumer/Enterprise Supply Chain finance teams.
The Consumer Global Supply Chain FP&A COE Director will lead a team of ~20 employees. Talent engagement and development are top priorities. This role will require partnering with the regional talent councils to ensure career progression both into and out of the organization.
Demonstrating a core understanding of the FP&A process and the ability to deliver results by inspiring their team will be vital to the success in their role as the Consumer Global Supply Chain COE FP&A.

Traditional FP&A:
• Financial leadership of the COGS, Net Cost Change, Cost Actions, Inventory, and Consolidation.
• Global Consumer Supply Chain planning, reporting, analysis and financial commitment monitoring.
• Key leader of all major finance cycles (Updates, Business Plan, Quarterly Close, Latest Thinking).
• Key liaison across the 3-tier finance model specific to: Quarter close, TM1 submissions, all planning cycles.
Standardization / Capability Build:
• Shape and enhance Planning & Update processes, standard reporting & performance capability.
• Advance Global standards / technology adoption.
• Champion continuous process improvements and best practice sharing across Global & Regional COE teams.
• Driving utilization of TM1 & other FP&A tools / system and automation enablers.
• Advancing analytical and decision support capabilities (Predictive Analytics; Interactive Dashboards, Intelligent Automation)
Develop Finance Talent:
• Build a dynamic high energy, innovative, and diverse thinking culture.
• Strong talent development skills, leading ~20 finance professionals.
• Participate on Operations Controller Council, Regional COE Leadership Team, and related Global initiatives.
• Partner with other Finance leaders to accelerate diverse leadership, talent and finance capability pipelines across the COEs.
Qualifications
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.
• A MBA, CPA, CMA, and/or other advanced degree(s) or financial certification(s) is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of finance business experience is required.
• Experiencing managing and developing direct reports is required.
• The candidate must be self-motivated with a track record of demonstrated leadership abilities with senior business leaders, direct reports and finance colleagues.
• The candidate must thrive in a dynamic environment including working independently on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Superior communication, business partnering, problem solving, prioritization skills and ability to navigate through a highly matrix model is required.
• The candidate must be able to develop and implement process improvements.
• This position requires strong technical & analytical skills.
• Previous global experience is preferred.
• Transformation and/or change agent experience is preferred.
• Experience with Supply Chain, cost accounting and/or FP&A is preferred.
• This position is based in Titusville, NJ.
• This role requires up to 10% of international and/or domestic travel.
