Position Summary and Essential Duties:
This position provides advanced level of administrative support to director and/or staff. To perform diverse administrative duties for corporate officer which involves high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment
Job Specific Information:
This position reports to the Director of Information Technology supporting FedEx Ground and Field Support Services.
The successful candidate must be proficient in all aspects of administrative support, including policies and procedures. Must also be skilled in managing travel and manage calendars with frequent changes on an on-going basis.
The selected candidate will perform diverse office administration duties, which involves working with high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive information, necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and sound judgment
Skills/Knowledge Considered a Plus:
The candidate should possess the following skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Well-Rounded organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Passionate
Ability to coordinate and work with other employees to coordinate significant events – such as Annual picnic, Offsite events ,etc…

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED. Requires six (6) years related business experience including four (4) years as an administrative assistant typing proficiency. PC experience and ability to use Microsoft Office software. CPS or one (1) year of related college courses required. Good spelling, punctuation and basic English grammar skills. Ability to operate standard office equipment. Ability to compose correspondence for manager's signature. Ability to prioritize mail and telephone calls for manager's review and/or action. Good human relations skills.
