At THE HUB, you’ll create the future!
You will lead new ways of working for digital initiatives and shape the Future of Marketing & consumer engagement for Unilever Beauty & Personal Care. At THE HUB, the Unilever newly created Digital Disruption Center, you will be a be a key force driving the engagement between the always-on consumer with our always-on brands.
You will lead an amazing team of experts with diverse capabilities in a non-hierarchical structure.
You are a passionate digitally-minded individual that has the ability to think strategically and creatively.
You have an appreciation and deep knowledge of the ever-changing digital world and desire to create world-class brand experiences across all touch points.
You are a consumer, brand and subject matter expert, knowing the right questions to ask at the right time, and providing direct leadership to brand teams so that they can reach consumers in compelling, creative ways while maximizing the return.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Will be responsible of leading a multi-disciplinary team of digital and creative expertise and diverse backgrounds.
• Responsible to keep Beauty & Personal Care on the cutting edge of advances in technology & digital marketing.
• Think expansively and holistically about consumers and their changing expectations and lifestyles and work with digital partners across the consumer, internet and media landscapes to unearth new digital solutions.
• Responsible to design & test new ways of working to drive consumer engagement: from new brands creation, innovation, to content creation and go-to-market strategies- underpinned by trends & data.
• Pioneer data-driven marketing initiatives - leveraging data and technical functionality to identify, target and engage with the right customers, at the right time, with the right messages
• Identify, collect, and analyze metrics to identifying solutions to drive & monitor Innovation & brand Engagement initiatives
• Lead Digital & Technology trends delivering long and short terms future insights helping brands to translate them into leading edge and tangible consumer (people) focused strategies, innovation and experiences
• Identify disruptive innovations that have a potential for Beauty & Personal Care (i.e. diagnostics, 3D Printing, connected devices, new platforms, etc,)
• Identify and shepherd pilot programs with emerging digital technology companies across the global organization
• To support identification of key strategic partnerships that create points of differentiation vs. the competition and accelerate overall roadmap globally. Manage relationship with some digital partners & Start ups
• Align and integrate digital marketing initiatives with omnichannel strategy
• Create acquisition and retention strategies to support all e-commerce channels
• Leverage advanced analytical skillset to quickly identify and execute the most innovative and profitable strategies including: digital marketing, social media/community management, e-commerce, media buying, and creative
• Prioritize potential initiatives by understanding alignment with business strategy and value generated for current and future users
• To identify best practices and scale learning across the division required to be effective (win) in the digital space.
• Mentor Brand Teams about current and coming disruptions highlighting opportunities
• Foster and develop strong a high-performing team culture
• Need to manage facilities of the office and resource and allocation for projects
KEY REQUIREMENTS
• 15+ years of experience
• Brand experience and diverse background is a must
• Understanding of the beauty market and/or lifestyle brands is a plus
• Experienced in agile practices and willingness to foster a non-hierarchical structure
• Passionate about driving change, seeing beyond the current paradigm to create the new
• Externally connected and linked to the future of business and technology.
• Team Leadership: You should also have significant experience leading a cross-functional team and collaborating with Brand and External partners, suppressing ego in favor of the team.
• Project Management: ability to lead projects with multiple stakeholders, complex inputs, and time sensitive deadlines
• Thinker: You should be a lateral thinker adept at uncovering the themes and critical pieces of information that can spark game-changing innovations.
• Doer: You should be fascinated with shaping the future, able to move seamlessly from high altitude thinking to the tangible and practical.
• Challenger: You should thrive being a challenger of the status quo– to create genuinely “great” innovation and marketing
• A proven ability to maintain a balance between innovation and execution. Must be able to think outside the box while also staying realistic about what is possible given the constraints of time, money and organizational.
• A passion for achieving a deeper and deeper understanding the business and its potential in the marketplace, for finding innovative solutions to complex marketing problems
• A global mindset, the ability to work with executives with different cultural backgrounds and an ability to relate to the creative sensibility of the brands and categories will be significant assets.
• Capable of working in a large corporate environment without full guidance (finds his/her path and makes it happen) and can “build the plane while flying”.
• Person needs to have digital experience and have worked in digital roles. Either in pure play channels or social media roles with strong digital expertise.
