Job Summary:

The Global Business and Information Services (GBIS) organization is partnering with business functions to enable new capabilities, while exploring and activating some of the latest emerging technology to support the overall business strategy. As part of GBIS, the IT Director of Business Relations Management (BRM) for Finance and R&D will partner with Finance, Brand, and Research & Development on leveraging technology to meet business needs. This role will ensure solid relationships with business partners and alignment with IT.
The role of the IT Director – BRM for Finance and R&D includes building effective and inspired teams that provide leadership and vision along with planning, organizing, and coordinating the BRM team focus. Understands business strategy for Finance and R&D, collaborates on business processes, and defines business requirements for the IT portfolio. Communicates IT strategy, standards, solutions, and processes to business partners. Manages escalations from business partners.
Job Responsibilities:
• Active engagement in regular business leadership meetings to provide strategic partnership and influence
• Drive all IT towers to define and prioritize technology solutions that are appropriate and adequate to satisfy both tactical and strategic business needs
• Manage strategic IT communications between the business unit leads and the IT Leadership through reporting of portfolio oversight (operational, financial, transformational activities)
• Act with transparency and accountability for IT services supporting business operations
• Serve as strategic business partner that aligns IT services with business capability requirements
• Influence IT services portfolio on behalf of the business with the tower leads and IT Outsourcer
• Manage relationships across IT business units and coordinate capability requirements within each area
• Provide business unit leads guidance and expectations around financial accountability and consistency
• Act as a partner with business units to understand and influence both business operational and strategic needs where technology can be leveraged for a strategic advantage
• Work closely with business unit leads to help ensure consistency in definitions of scope, budgets and timeframes for projects, maintain the aggregated perspective across portfolios
• Is a culture creator and agent of change focused on making the new lean model work to ConAgra advantage
• Prioritizes multiple activities simultaneously and completes or delegates work to ensure dates are met
• Builds a cohesive and cooperative team environment that supports development and growth
• Executes Conagra’s success cycle including all Human Capital management activities
Position Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Finance or other degrees with high level understanding of application development and information systems required
• 8+ years in Information Technology or Finance, 5+ years in Management or relevant experience
• Expert in Financial management, integration processes including expert knowledge in MMA, BPC and other forecasting systems.
• Expert is Sales Finance, Trade Finance, Brand Finance and Integration Business Planning processes
• Working knowledge of buy, make, sell, deliver and back office processes and interactions
• Working knowledge of Research & Development processes and interactions
• Preferred working knowledge of Analytic solutions, data and reporting architecture and associated tools
• Preferred working knowledge of planning processes including SAP APO, SAS, MRP, Material ledger and Right Angle
