This position is responsible for executing the enterprise category management vision and strategy. The director will be responsible for a team of individuals assigned to assess opportunities in specific categories, build consensus on approach among stakeholders, and arrive at solutions that enable an enterprise approach to category management with significant cost reduction while improving or sustaining quality/service, supply chain integrity and other corporate objectives (e.g., diversity, sustainability). The position is responsible for ensuring compliance with the governance process and the FedEx category management methodology.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or other related quantitative discipline is required. Significant leadership experience and knowledge of sourcing and supply chain processes is required. Demonstrated success in leading/executing complex projects, building out business cases, and working with external suppliers is required. The ability to build collaborative work environments, agile teams, and consensus among various stakeholders is essential.
