Sales Director - Convenience & Gas Customer Team

Pepsi Beverages Company (PBC) is PepsiCo’s beverage manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit in the United States and Canada. This position will be part of the North America Beverage organization.
The Sales Director will be responsible for leading the account management responsibilities for 2-3 National and Regional Convenience & Gas Channel customers and, ~$150MM in net revenue. This is an exciting role as the Director will be a part of growing categories: tea, coffee, and water as well as Gatorade and our Carbonated Soft Drink portfolio. The qualified candidate will have excellent written communication and the ability to influence and wire across all levels of the organization. This is a very fast paced environment which requires strong time management and excellent customer service.
Job Accountabilities:
• Deliver year-in Innovation planned volume/revenue targets by selling/executing against all facets of a successful Innovation launch
• Develop deep customer intimacy, but also demonstrate ability to lean into tough negotiations
• Lead JBP (joint business planning) for following year with customer, locking down joint growth goals and pillars to support that growth, including innovation
• Action plan to identify and implement opportunities to close down gaps to plan in year
• Provide superior customer service
• Identify new merchandising, branding, pricing, and activation/marketing opportunities for 2018 and 2019 that drive space and sales
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, MBA a plus
• Minimum of seven years of sales experience; preferably with a consumer packaged goods organization in a direct store delivery environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early morning and some weekends
• Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft suite
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically
• Authorization to work in the United States
