Director, Creative, Frito Lay North America
Reports to: Vice President, Creative & Digital

Candidates must have experience at a creative agency working on both creative and digital activations and technology platform experience either in the creative or strategy departments.
The Creative Director role will lead the creative vision and execution within the internal agency at Frito Lay North America. This role will require some level of travel for creative development such as photoshoots or content production. This person will be our creative guardian, helping to translate the objectives and goals of the business and inspire our contractors and creative teams to develop breakthrough creative. This leader will have to be someone that the brand team not only trusts to execute great creative, but that can understand the business side of what we do as well.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead internal creative initiatives that integrates media analytics and creative best practices for brands across Frito Lay North America's portfolio
• Lead, manage and inspire a team of creative contractors in the development and execution of creative content for brands
• Partner with outside agencies and technology platform partners to ensure proper execution and best in class learnings across brands
• Provide strong leadership in cultivating and fostering an “in-house” team of creative experts that will be responsible for executing creative vision across multiple brands and platforms
Qualifications/Requirements
• 10+ years’ experience in a creative agency or similar company
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign CS5 or above a plus
• Knowledge of PowerPoint and Keynote
• Preferable to have design skills and capabilities
• Creative experience with broad brand marketing capabilities in CPG and other categories
• Experience in marketing, brand development, innovation, shopper marketing and/or consumer insights
• Strong consumer empathy & customer-centricity. Demonstrated ability to place the consumer at the heart of everything
• Proven collaboration abilities with both internal account and brand teams
• Strategic thinking and creative leadership skills
• Deep understanding of marketing strategy and ability to develop marketing tactics that deliver on brand objectives.
• Creative leader who can bring a brand voice to life across omnichannel marketing vehicles and develop breakthrough marketing ideas.
• Big picture, strategic thinking, coupled with results orientation; proven track record of strong tactical execution within the creative space.
• Ability to tell a story, synthesize and convey key messages and present in a visual and compelling way.
• People management experience leading and inspiring teams of creative professionals
• Entrepreneurial mindset – willing to roll up your sleeves and creatively stretch budgets along with being a creator themselves
• Purposeful brand leader: must be able to build compelling narratives around brands’ purpose and translating that into action that builds business
• Proven ability to interact with senior level management across functions to deliver against strategic digital engagement goals
