We’re seeking a Director, Strategic Partner Solutions (Business Development) in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will be responsible for creating key partnerships for a new WU business Vertical. The role requires a broad range of competencies, including but not limited to relationship management, business development, analysis, project scoping and management, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge in continuous process improvement and have proven success in both short-term and long-term goal achievement. Furthermore, the role will require excellence in creating and maintaining productive partnership with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Lead prospecting, strategic partner selection, and the partner solutioning process for large strategic targets for a new WU business vertical.
• Prioritize leads based on global revenue potential and serve as primary day-to-day prospect relationship lead from first discussions to solutioning.
• Effectively collaborate cross-functionally to identify solutions that are tailored to the specific needs of each potential partner.
• Effectively manage a prospect pipeline, driving key action items and next steps proactively - both internally and externally.
• Identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organization.
• Possess a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide and of the company’s competitors.
What you will need to succeed:
• Minimum 10 years in a partner sales and solutioning role.
• University degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
• Must have strong sales, product, and organization skills (this is not a pure BD job).
