General Summary: The SVP Operations is a key member of the Product Supply leadership team, reporting to the COO. This position is a strategic leader across manufacturing, procurement, engineering and business development of the North American operations and is responsible for ensuring the company’s day-to-day operational activities run smoothly and effectively. This position requires the analysis of broad and complex issues and the formulation of strategies to ensure that deadlines for product delivery to customers are met in a cost effective manner.
Essential Functions:
• Participates in developing and implementing a strategic operating plan that supports the organization’s vision and goals as well as long-term operations strategy across North America.
• Oversees the functions of operations: manufacturing, procurement, engineering and business development through continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Analyzes revenue, profit and cash flow opportunities for the business and recommends actions to maximize efficiencies and operational partnership with other functions.
• Fosters an entrepreneurial culture that promotes the GPN values including customer focus and high service levels.
• Develops and manages a department structure, operating standards and practices that are responsive and adaptable to evolving business needs.
• Serve as a leader and role model and create working environments where employees are equipped and driven to excel. Select, develop and motivate team members and ensure proper bench strength. Develop long term Global raw material supply strategy and manage relationships with key suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable corporate safety risk management objectives as well as regulatory requirements.
• Oversee and leverage co-man footprint and partnerships to ensure the most efficient and effective operating model is utilized.
• Assists with acquisition due diligence and integration activities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of the position
◦ Technical knowledge: Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Quality
◦ Must have experience and general understanding of manufacturing operations, procurement, engineering, and business development
◦ Strong project management
◦ Solid financial acumen including P&L responsibility, inventory, costs and margin
◦ Solid understanding of KPI Management: quality, cost , service & delivery

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field. MBA a plus
• Years of Experience: Minimum 10 – 15 years’ experience in operations
• Other requirements : Must have senior management experience managing multiple departments
• Ability to travel as necessary to support current and future growth
