Associate Creative Director, Coding
Job Summary
Apple is looking for an extraordinary Associate Creative Director to join our Today at Apple team in Retail Marketing. You will create innovative and compelling experiences across live events in Apple stores and online that inspire and educate Apple customers worldwide; from arts and design, to film-making, photography, music, to coding, business and education.
Key Qualifications
• 8 - 10 years minimum experience in a design company, advertising agency or in-house creative environment.
• You have a high taste level, and a high bar for exceptional design, storytelling and photography.
• You have experience in conceiving content that captures projects
• You have experience working with video and still production crews.
• You possess a broad background in art direction, design and copy that spans digital, illustration, and video work, and the ability to confidently create, evaluate, and re-direct when necessary.
• You have solid expertise in developing creative solutions in a variety of campaigns, across a broad range of problems and media including advertising, print, video/broadcast, interactive (web, DM, and social networking), retail communications, and channel POS.
• You have in-depth knowledge of all steps required in the creative development process. This includes effectively and efficiently staffing projects, providing clear communication and creative direction, giving timely andusefull feedback to improve creative solutions.
• You have excellent skills with design software, which will be used in the design and creative production process. This includes, but is not limited to, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects.
Description
This is a key role creating new programming and experiences in live and digital environments across all touch-points. We develop authentic, viable concepts and content that open doorsand establish Today at Apple as a source of great content and creativity. We collaborate with Retail Marketing teams to align on project objectives and have strong knowledge of the creative development process. We effectively scale design solutions in accordance with project constraints and parameters and possess an expert ability to develop well-conceived innovative and creative work that implements the strategy. We Lead complex deadlines and provide regular, consistent updates to our Creative Directors and the Operations team. We support the Creative Directors and partner with Associate Creative Directors in leading and mentoring a creative team to create exceptional brand and marketing work. We have the ability to effectively work with other creative staff members, vendors, and freelancers with good conceptual and problem solving skills. We have excellent design skills accompanied by the ability to guide and evaluate, and if necessary, redirect creative development. We communicate effectively with creative and project management staff and have great presentation skills and excellent written and oral skills. We need to be able to meet deadlines on assigned projects and are relied upon to concept and design high quality creative work in a variety of media that pushes the Apple brand forward.
Education
BA or BS degree in Graphic Design or other related field preferred.
