Director of Research Sales - Neurology (North America)
In this role, you have the opportunity to:
To lead research sales and business development for Philips Neurology in North America. Today, the map of the neuro frontier is uncharted and we are looking for a passionate, tireless member for our Leadership team to help build the research customer focused area of our business.
Your responsible for the following:
• Lead neuroscience focused research sales team.
• Ability to attract, build, and retain key talent.
• Grow research sales while managing and building a sales team.
• Establish and steward key commercial and operational plans including processes and strategies for: distribution, contracting, business planning, sales comp., forecasting, budgeting, and KPI selection.
• Create a true team atmosphere of accountability, loyalty, camaraderie, and recognition
• Ensure sales efforts align with and support organizational strategy
• Be the voice of the customer in strategic planning
• Develop and leverage win-win alliances and partnerships within the greater Philips organization
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, key researcher stakeholders, and strategic partners.
• Effectively communicate value and vision to customers.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
• BS Degree with MS or PhD a plus
• Neuroscience experience required, EEG expertise a plus
• Strong track record of sales team leadership and success required
• Experience building sales organizations, including sales operations and commercial strategy
• Ability to manage fast-paced, changing environment
• Experience working in team atmosphere / Cross functional preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills that translate globally
• Ability and interest to travel and be in front of customers at every opportunity
• Integrity
• Passion for wanting to improve scientific discovery and patient lives, especially in the most challenging neuro spaces
