Director, Human Resources – NAFTA
The Director, Human Resources – NAFTA is responsible for the execution of the HR Strategy for the operations in the United States and Mexico. Collaborating with Business Leaders in support of strategic business objectives, this position advises and coaches leaders in all elements of HR management, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Training, Labor Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Engagement, Internal Communication and Employee Relations for over 1500 employees. Provides support and guidance to the leadership team on all Employee-related manners and creates programs to support organizational change and development.

In this role the ideal candidate will act as a network and think innovatively while executing the following responsibilities:
• Provide business leaders and managers with an HR perspective on business decisions by leveraging strong knowledge of all HR functions.
• Collaborate with business leaders to design organizational structures, talent needs, and talent development plans to drive organizational strategy.
• Maintain current understanding of the organization’s financial status, product and service offerings, customer segments, and revenue-generation models.
• Analyze a broad range of HR data to identify valid insights, and convert these insights into recommendations the business can use to make decisions.
• Maintain a current knowledge of legislation and regulation that relate to HR issues, and participate in developing appropriate policies and procedures.
• Lead activities focused on improving employee engagement and maintaining a positive and progressive work culture.
• Foster deep and current knowledge of HR department functions and capabilities through ongoing discussion and collaboration with HR colleagues.
• Coach business leaders and managers on human resource and people management practices.
• Administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems.
• Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine opportunities for improvement and develop recommendations for enhancement of organization’s personnel policies and practices.
• Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance metrics, etc.
• Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, labor relations, and employee relations.
• Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related issues.
• Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
