The Vice President, eCommerce, Beauty will lead the multi-functional strategy, plan development, go-to-market model, and best practice creation for the Company’s e-Commerce Beauty business. The leader will be personally accountable for channel results, plan development with key stakeholders (Beauty Care Business Unit, Sales Strategy & Planning, Marketing, Product Development, and Finance).
What we offer
• Lead the growth of Henkel’s e-Business development in the areas of Pure Play & Brick & click retailers.
• Establish strategic view of the digital commerce landscape, keeping current with industry best practices and trends.
• Establish, lead and motivate a talented team providing vision, direction and guidance. Manage direct report(s) over and above the current e-Commerce ecosystem of support.
• Develop the multi-year business plan, annual plan, and annual budget; own & Manage the P&L
• Manage online margin and maximize online revenue and profitability by assessing and implementing effective pricing and promotional activities.
• Optimize the experience on existing sites to improve conversion and increase repeat purchases.
• Partner with Henkel IMU’s and cross-region e-Commerce partners on evaluation and development of global ecommerce roadmap to support the Company’s long-term growth strategies. Assist Henkel Global teams as a U.S. liaison to cascade best practices of a U.S. retail landscape to the Global COE and other countries where Click and Collect Models are more dominant and Pureplay is smaller.
• Strategically and profitably expand ecommerce into additional regions and countries, as determined by the Company.
• Oversee the implementation and utilization of database marketing program to drive brand loyalty and sales.
Who we are looking for
• BA/BS required, MBA preferred
• 15+ years of related experiences in Sales, Marketing, Strategy, and/or business development, with multiple years in B2C Sales e-Commerce
• Prior success leading teams and large e-Commerce projects
• Expertise on current e-Commerce industry best practices
• Extensive knowledge of e-commerce technology and sophisticated analytics
• Outstanding strategic, business development orientation
• Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
