Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Director who brings a consultative, collaborative style to an HR team that is tightly integrated within the business. You will be responsible for assisting the VP of HR in developing HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior management on a broad array of HR related topics. You will be able to take the lead on key initiatives in alignment with HR and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Human Resource Business Partner for two business units, providing HR guidance and direction to maximize the people return on investment for the business.
• Partnering closely with the VP of HR, assist in developing organizational strategies by identifying and researching issues, contributing information, analysis and recommendations in line with organizational objectives.
• Lead annual HR cycle initiatives such as talent planning, performance management, compensation reviews, etc.
• Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and enforcing adherence to the requirements, advising management on needed actions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities, reading professional publications, managing personal networks and participating in professional organizations.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive, broad based HR experience in a company headquartered outside the U.S..
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, or Organizational Behavior with a Master’s degree preferred, SPHR.
• Excellent knowledge of employment law and regulations. Thorough knowledge of HR principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills including a high degree of proficiency in MS Office applications. ERP experience with SAP or similar ERP tools highly desired.
• Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.
• Experience with agile teams and change management.
• Highly ethical with an open, honest style that encourages collaboration.
