Program Director - Hospital Command Center
In this role, you have the opportunity to:
As part of the business group Monitoring and Analytics (BG MA) you will be a pivotal member of the Strategic Projects and Ventures (SP&V) team. The strategic projects and ventures (SP&V) team executes transformational change across BG MA including executing inorganic strategy as well as delivering on key transformation programs.
A high profile extremely strategic opportunity now exists for a passionate program manager to lead a key program to establish Philips’ position in the rapidly emerging enterprise command center market. The “command center” is quickly becoming a core element in managing hospital operations and integrates data from multiple sources improving hospital performance. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to lead a highly visible program comprised of multiple workstreams spanning marketing, commercial, operations, service and strategy/alliances and operate in a global environment across multiple BIUs and markets to execute strategy.
The program manager will have overall responsibility for program organization and execution, schedules, budgets and deliverables including identifying needed resources and major project roles. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant internal policies, procedures, and standards and keeping abreast of developments in project management tools and processes (both internal and external).
You are responsible to:
• Define program set up & organization
• Define and establish a high performance program team across multiple workstreams
• Effectively engage senior BIU and market stakeholders to ensure alignment and overall program success
• Manage program budget and schedule ensuring key milestones and KPIs are achieved
• Prepare and own program annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic workforce plan (SWP)
• Prepare and deliver sponsor and steerco updates and other management briefings
• Manage a diverse stakeholder base across multiple organizations
• Apply Program Management PMI processes and best practices
• Apply Change Management best practice and tools
• Apply Lean & daily management best practice and tools
You are a part of:
Strategic Programs & Ventures team in Monitoring & Analytics Business Group
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
• MBA preferred or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated success leading complex programs
• Strong leadership skills, able to operate in an international as well as local environment
• Adaptability to talk to/manage different levels of audiences from team members to executive management
• Strong communication & stakeholder management skills including strong presentation skills, appropriate to both management and customer audiences
• Demonstrate ability to work with broad set of customers & stakeholders (sales, marketing, product management, R&D, finance, service, Q&R, legal, etc.). Need to be able to speak their language to drive close collaboration and effectiveness.
• Strong influencing skills, conflict resolution, assertiveness, negotiation in collaboration with management.
• Knowledge of project management methods in Philips
• Philips Excellence Project Management Expert Certified or PMP certified with 10+ years program/project management experience
• Formal training and experience leading change management related programs
